The food here is wonderful, the owner is a real down to earth type of guy and the restaurant feels refined but casual at the same time and also a bit worldly with all the different decorations that are posted throughout the place. It is a relaxing atmosphere with food that the casual diner can enjoy, like Philly steak and cheese but also foods that suit the restaurants theme of Mediterranean. The home-made tzatziki sauce is great on everything from their perfectly cooked rice to their Philly steak and cheese I highly recommend it if you are getting any savory food here. Think of it pretty much like Mediterranean ranch for those who have no idea what it is. I like it better than ranch, it just goes so well with all the foods I have tried it on so far.

This is only my second time ever writing a review, but this restaurant absolutely deserves the shoutout. The food was incredible — every bite was full of flavor and clearly made with care. The staff was super friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the whole experience even better.
And the baklava? Hands down the best I’ve ever had. It was so good I literally had to turn around and buy more before leaving!
Honestly, five stars just aren’t enough to describe how amazing this place is. I can’t wait to come back!

We went there for iftar, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The server was very friendly and welcomed us with dates and Arabic coffee, which was a thoughtful touch.
We ordered the Mix Meat over Rice — 10/10. The kofta skewer was an 8/10, and we really enjoyed the salad as well. Most importantly, the food is halal.

The main dishes looked amazing. I had the beef kofta and it was delicious.
Service however, not so good. The older gentleman took my order and asked if I wanted a tzatziki with the order. When I found they forgot, and the younger guy went to grab one and I saw how small they were, I asked for two. That’s when the younger guy went all out to convince me that just one would absolutely be enough. But it wasn’t. And what? Will giving someone two tzatzikis break the bank?
Lastly, although their baklava tasted similar to baklava, the actual dessert looked like no baklava I’ve ever seen, and not at all like the photos they have of it, which is false advertising. And the consistency of it was the same as a butter cookie. There was none of the filo, nuts, honey – nothing. It was all ground together – ugh.
I work with hundreds of people at a massive jobsite, and we’ve been talking about trying out Elpasha, so I tried it tonight. And so now that was my experience to share with everyone.

We were happy to find this place recently (January 2026) as mediterranean cuisine has been missed since moving back to Meridian a few years ago. The food is amazing, savory, tender meats seasoned to perfection and friendly service. We will definitely be back here often!

I had a excellent experience here. Granted it did take a bit to get my order, but only because it was so packed. Definitely a popular place. Staff was kind and friendly and the food was great. Brought back memories of when I traveled around the Mediterranean and the Middle East. Definitely will be back to try other dishes. Highly recommend any of the lamb plates. And can’t go wrong with the baklava for dessert.
