Ordered for the first time in a while. Very disappointed. Soggy pizza, Chicken wings that tasted like they came from Sam’s Club and fried and french fried There were also soggy and tasted like they were fried in old oil. We couldn’t eat it. Don’t waste your money, not worth it. Seventy dollars later, all went in the garbage.

I’ve tried to give Elmwood Pizza multiple chances, but I’m extremely disappointed. Every time I order, the delivery is about an hour late — even when I include a tip. This has now happened three times.
On the most recent order, the delivery driver called when he arrived, but the overall service was still very late. When I contacted the restaurant to address the issue, they hung up on me instead of trying to resolve the problem.
Consistently late deliveries and poor customer service are unacceptable. I won’t be ordering again unless there are serious improvements.

Ordered online 1 large pizza, 1 small pizza and an order of fries. My husband went to pick it up and was told they didn’t have it. He explained we ordered and paid for it online and the cook/owner? lost his mind. Another customer was there with the same problem. My husband called and I forwarded him the receipt. As my husband was talking to me the guy took his phone out of his hand and began to talk to me in the most condescending way calling me sweetheart and grilling me on what was ordered. He wanted to know what size fries and I said I don’t know but they cost $7.99 and he told me their fries cost $6.99 and I said then you overcharged me. Come to find out they only sell one size of fries. He spoke so belittling to me that I hung up and left my husband to deal with him. Except for the fact we paid he would have left. As my husband was waiting a customer came in with an order for 34 pizzas. If you get an exceptionally large order that you are struggling to fulfill then you turn off online orders. We got our order finally after about 45 minutes and after being a loyal customer through multiple owners that was our last time.

Honestly zero in ratings, couldn’t receive my doordash order because employees there suck and didn’t allow my dasher to pick up the order, when he was explaining the situation with my order the girl on the counter didn’t want to listen and got mad for no reason, then another employee kick my dasher out of there threatening to call the police… again for no reason. Guetto behaviour if you ask me, I thought this pizzeria was in West Hartford not in the North End of Hartford. Some people deserve to be stuck where they are.

Last night we ordered pizza. 2 pizzas. Said it would be ready in half an hour. We arrive at the half hour mark. My husband goes in and pays, then sits and waits 20 minutes!!?! …NO PIZZA, he asks what’s up, no answer really just gave him a look , he looks and sees our pizzas were JUST going in. He asked what was going on as we had kids in the car eagerly waiting to eat, then go trick or treating!!! Over an hour for 2 pizzas and NO REFUND even though my husband had to sit in there for over 40 minutes for a pizza that was supposed to be ready when we arrived!!! Never again. They didn’t care that it took that long. No apology, no discount, just oh well!!! Nope, never again. We only went there but because our usual spot was having phone issues!! Horrible service and the pizza is not good

The owner is the rudest worst person ever! I ordered a half pepperoni half sausage and he gave me cheese and said that I got what I asked for WHICH is not true I had people who heard me order. The pizza tasted stale and old. I will never order from here again.

This is a “no frills” pizza place with the nicest staff, and I mean that in the best way possible. The food is good, the service is quick and friendly. What more do you need? If I’m looking for a pie or a grinder in a pinch, I’m looking at Elmwood.

Got delivery Food wasnt bad but these people dont listen I asked for a simple order mozzarella sticks and meat lovers pizza got the OK for both it arrives and all I got was a pizza called them back with 15 minutes till close guy tells me everyone went home including the driver even though he was outside my house and the lady who took my order was in the back saying she didnt hear me I’m surprised my pizza was right since she claims she couldnt hear me won’t order from people who don’t listen again.
