This cozy little restaurant specializes in subs and pizza, offering a simple yet satisfying dining experience. I tried the spaghetti—it was decent, though the noodles were softer than I prefer.
The pizza, however, was excellent—crispy and flavorful. The Philly Cheesesteak was also enjoyable, rounding out a solid menu selection.
The space is clean and modest, with about eight tables seating four each. Orders are placed up front, and there’s no table service, which I don’t mind. However, if you are a needy customer who prefer frequent check-ins and constant drink refills, this might not be the place for you.
It wasn’t too busy during my visit, and overall, the experience was enjoyable. I’d definitely return.

We did take out, so cannot speak to atmosphere. My husband placed the order, but want to assume service was great! The actual product, no thanks! Odd seasoning. Don’t want to say “bad” ( as I did eat a slice while warm, but decided to spit out my first bite of second slice when it was luke warm — I’m a weirdo. That’s fine!). Crust is the quality of a cracker. Rumor is Harvest Pizza is where we should try. Next visit.

Top 3 worst pizzas I’ve ever had in my life. Also ordered “garlic bread”, and received a slice of white un-toasted, un-garlic-buttered bread. Will never return.

First time ordering here. Have lived in the Newark area for over 6 years now. Decided to give it a try this evening.
We were quoted 40 minutes wait time but that seemed fair for a Friday evening. After driving 15 minutes to pick up then 15 more home to eat we opened the box to big disappointment. The whole pizza BURNT ! with several pieces black and inedible.
I called to report right away offering pictures but she said I didn’t need to show pictures.
I wasn’t offered a replacement by delivery as I was told we were out of the “delivery area” and driving 30 minutes on my end wasn’t an option either.
I was t even offered a refund to my form of payment (card) which was surprising. The only thing offered was a gift certificate by mail.

Great local spot. Friendly staff. Loved the pizza. Old car shop has retained its character and is still making great food 38 years later. I’m told that 92 year old grandpa still comes in every day to grate the cheese. We’ll be back!

Wonderful as always! Crispy, thin crust, and lots of cheese. We got pepperoni and sausage, both with extra cheese, and they did not disappoint!

Elms is the best! We had 2 side salads, ranch and Italian, fresh, bright, simple, and delicious! Stromboli w/pep, sausage mushrooms and extra homemade sauce, all is to die for! A must have every two weeks!
