Elmo’s Rock Bar and Grill is officially my new favorite spot!
Early last week, their Tuesday karaoke night popped up on my Facebook feed, and it instantly piqued my interest. I grabbed my guy, and we headed out for a fun night. From the service to the food to the lively, welcoming atmosphere — everything was on point.
I enjoyed it so much, I went back a second time after the Stick Figure concert on July 5th. They had a live band playing, and once again, the food and service were consistently great.
This place has officially become my new special go-to — whether it’s for a casual night out or post-concert vibes. Highly recommend!

When I come to Elmo’s I usually tip 100% or more of my tab because the drinks are so cheap and I absolutely love that they can serve me their amazing chicken tenders at late hours of the night. I respect that these bar girls work very hard for their money… however I felt very disrespected this last time I went there. For the first TIME IN THE LAST 10 Years that I’ve attentended this bar that I used to consider my safe space I was humiliated and cut off on a Thursday night Feb 12th after only spending $28 on drinks by this new larger woman bartender that I’ve only seen working there recently. I wanted to buy several shots and more drinks for my friends but she asked me to leave. I told her I am sorry and asked if I had done something wrong but she said that she was no longer serving me and I had to leave. I left a $100 bill on the counter for a $28 total bar tab and my friends after witnessing how I was treated and disrespected, fortunately grabbed the $100 off the counter and gave it back to me. I settled with just paying $40 for a tab that was $28, which was more than generous for how I was treated being a regular and knowing over half the patrons that attend here. I am asking for a formal apology before I can ever come back here again. So sad to see this place go downhill with terrible staffing decisions. I still have alot of hole for this place but the way I was treated this last time was just not right.

Y’all say you’re open until 5 AM… got there at 4:15 on New Years Day to try and get a quick drink or two and y’all are closed. Then, I went in to at least ask to see if i could use the bathroom… and the female bartender who was wasted drunk and standing next to the bouncer said to go piss outside. Bruh, i’m not trying to get a ticket for pissing outside in public by PBSO!!

The food is excellent; however, the experience is completely undermined by the head bartender, Ashley. Her behavior is consistently rude, unprofessional, and entirely devoid of basic hospitality. She treats patrons with open contempt, behaves as though she owns the establishment, and arbitrarily decides who is “allowed” to sit at the bar based on her mood rather than any policy or standard of service.
This conduct is unacceptable in any customer-facing role, let alone a leadership position. Her attitude creates a hostile environment for guests and reflects extremely poorly on the establishment as a whole. Regardless of how good the food may be, her behavior alone is enough to deter repeat business. Management should be aware that she is actively damaging the reputation of an otherwise quality venue.
