This place caught my attention when they were running a 1 yr anniversary special 50% off everything. So we decided to give them a try . We ordered chicken platter , piccadhino platter , and mixed bbq platter . They were all full of flavor and hearty servings . The chicken was nice and juicy . The mixed BbQ had ribs which were delicious and the meat came off the bone nicely, sausage was good along with the short ribs and chicken This definitely a good dish to try if you want variety. The piccadhino had good flavor with a mix of pork, chicken beef and shrimp along peppers and potatoes( some of the meat was a little tough but flavors made up for it . Also decided to get the grilled red snapper it was so good . We definitely made out with the portions it feed us for days . They are very casual spot with only have a few tables inside and service pretty on point I called in the order and the gentleman said 45 minutes and our order was ready to go on time . I definitely would recommend this spot if you are looking for some Portuguese style bbq .

I’ve been coming to Elmora BBQ 2 for a while now, and the food has always been solid. The chicken and ribs are always fresh and the portions are good. Staff is friendly and the place is clean every time I stop by. Not sure what’s going on with some of these reviews lately, but my experience has consistently been good. Definitely recommend giving it a try.

I tried this place out since it’s local to me and I figured it’s a new spot so why not. I ordered my usual I would get at a Portuguese spot..half beef ribs w/ rice & fries. When I got my order it was a good portion and smelled decent. However after taking the first bite it was an immediate no. The rice was hard and not boiled to that soft fluffy texture I’m used to at other Portuguese spots and on top of that it was salty. Now for the ribs it was an absolute no for me. These beef ribs had so much fat on them and had NO TASTE to it at all. I literally took one bite and had to spit it out and threw the whole thing in the garbage..it made me sick to my stomach to see how much fat was on it. Not sure how someone could feed that to people. You can tell their meat quality their using is not good at all. I’m so disappointed I spent almost $19 for food i expected to be as good as the other spots. Please read the reviews before you order..I thought what could go wrong. But no..alot can go wrong unfortunately. Don’t think I’d ever come back here after this experience

I’ve ordered here before and always got two full trays of food. This time I used their “buy one get one free” deal, and it’s a total scam. They basically took one tray, split it up, and put a sliver of chicken into each container — nowhere near what’s shown in the pictures or what I received in the past. One container literally had just a tiny piece of chicken.
When I called to ask about it, they said there was nothing they could do and basically shrugged it off. Complete false advertising and awful customer service. A better option would be going to Family BBQ — they have better food, better portions, and it’s actually seasoned.

Ordered the 1/2 combo, chicken, beef ribs, with rice and French fries today, as I usually do, and the beef ribs were NOT edible . I bit into it and immediately realized the taste was nasty, which made the French fries taste nasty!!!
After speaking to a trusted source, I learned this is not the first time this has happened. The first time I ate here, it was great, but every visit since, it has been worse and WORSE in quality and taste.
And today, I officially decided I will NOT return. AND YOU SHOULDN’T EITHER.

This place is absolutely disgusting. I was walking out of the store next door when I saw baby mice running straight into this BBQ spot, like it was their home base. Then when I walked by the entrance, there were even more of them inside, just roaming around like customers don’t even matter. If the mice are bold enough to be out in the open and crossing over from other stores, just imagine how bad it must be inside where customers can’t see. It was honestly one of the nastiest things I’ve ever witnessed, and it completely turned my stomach. I wouldn’t step foot in there for anything.
