I’m not a big breakfast person, and I tend to shy away from places that have so many locations that the quality and service has diminished with every new one open…

Elmer’s was definitely not that, as I previously judged and I just ultimately stayed away from all these years. Shame on me.

My husband REALLY wanted to go to Elmer’s. He loved it as a kid.
I, thinking it was like Denny’s or Shari’s, did not want to go. I reluctantly went and I’m so glad I did!!!

The food was AMAZING!! I got the German pancake meal. I ate the entire thing it was so good!

They have a nice selection of breakfast and lunch/dinner items! I’m excited to go back.

The staff were all very friendly!
My husband said it looks exactly the same as it did when he was a kid. Very nostalgic!

They do seasonal menu items where, upon ordering, they donate money to the Rose Festival and cancer research. I love it when local businesses give back.

The only bad thing is it’s very crowded (furniture-wise). The booths are so tight that you don’t have breathing, or even wiggle room. It’s not comfortable.

Otherwise definitely go!!

Best German pancakes in town. We always go here for them and they always do a fabulous job.

I haven’t been to an Elmer’s in many years and came here with a coworker for lunch. I forgot that they do all day breakfast which my coworker had but I had the Cascade Club with coleslaw and we both enjoyed our meals.

Just left Elmer’s. I’m ALREADY on the pooper unload “something.” My stomach didn’t agree with their breakfast. I don’t think it was cooked thoroughly. We did have a big group of 18 and they wanted to serve us quick. BUT they should cook the food correctly. Not serve half cooked food!

The food was good, except for my sunny-side up eggs. The white was not fully cooked and was clear. I didn’t complain though. The German pancake was delicious as was the bacon. My little niece loved her “cub cake”. The service was quite good. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was uncomfortable for me – the lighting, the booth. The restroom was clean.

Old homey atmosphere. Service was on the slower side but very friendly and kind. Mom never got her Bloody Mary she ordered but we also didn’t make a fuss about it. Food was very good. Hot and cooked well. I really enjoyed the German pancake. I have never had before. Love the texture and wasn’t too sweet. Strawberries were delicious. Daughter loved her kids meal chicken strips and fries. Mother loved her crab Benedict as well, she said 5 stars eggs cooked perfectly. Overall we would come back and try the rest of the menu the prime rib looks so good!

I just had to put my cat down so my mom & I were a mess. So was my dad. We didn’t feel like eating anything but we knew we were hungry. They were so nice, fun, & the food was phenomenal. Their Eggs Benedict is always my favorite but they have a crispy chicken version that is even better than that! I appreciated the service & the food equally. Good way to end a terrible day.

Food wasn’t edible and seems like they cooked it in the microwave. Scolding hot in the center and cold on the outside. Attached is the plate that was left behind due to it not being edible. The waitress did remove it from the bill.

We enjoyed our lunch and had some omelets and eggs with sausage links. The ambiance is alright, it gives you like old southern granny vibe, which is not bad. Service is fast. Nothing outstanding.

Cozy/charming old school diner atmosphere with pretty much all options you would want to consume coming to a place like Elmer’s. They keep the coffee constantly pouring. Food is decent, the service is great. You really come here for an atmosphere like your grandparents house. Definitely coming back!
