Dependably good food. Elliot’s is our go to place for wings. The patio out back is great. McKenzie is awesome!

The food was very good for your typical bar. I got the double Z burger, which is absolutely huge. He could only eat half of it. My wife got the steak it was cooked to perfection. They were very busy and apparently a little understaffed so the service was slower than what we would’ve liked however, they were very friendly and accommodating. This is not our first time here nor will it be our last. Great place to go for a quick bite and have a few cocktails.

Husband and I came here for supper on a trip. This place is straight up in the basement of a motel. But it was a good hole in the wall. Food was “good” – we both had the wings – service was “good” but the definitely felt like the local bar spot.

Great place!
I came in because it was at the motel I stayed in, but I was pleasantly surprised. The vibe is casual and friendly, the service was great, and the food was delicious.
The burger was a bit dry for my taste, but still good. The fried banana peppers are a must! So good!

We were visiting this area and it happened to be our anniversary. But we had our dog with us and we couldn’t find a place to go eat that would allow her to come. She is in a stroller. We called and they said sure she’s fine, as long as she’s on the patio. The food was very very good we had the ribeye steaks with cooked perfectly My husband had the baked potato with everything on it which looked delicious and I had hand cut fries. The salads were very good best we have ever had. If I’m ever in the area I will definitely come here again

This little bar was conveniently located basically within the Quality Inn we were staying at during our visit to the New River Gorge National Park. We ate here our first night because we were exhausted from the journey up, but wound up getting carryout for our last night because we legitimately enjoyed it, it was sooo convenient, and there’s not a ton of options in the area open later in the evening. I’m glad we took a chance on it!
The first night we dined inside. It’s a cozy little sports bar and exactly what you’d expect; lots of WVU memorabilia, a couple of TVs, and a nice bar. They actually had a Riesling available, to the delight of my mom, so that was a pleasant surprise! The young male host who seated us was also a super pleasant fellow.
They were very busy because they were hosting a small high school reunion in what looked like an extra space for rental. However, service and food was still pretty prompt! Our waitress seemed a little distracted and had a hard time hearing us but otherwise she did a good job.
We were still fairly full from lunch, so my parents and I split the appetizer platter (comes with wings, mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, and loaded potato skins) and added on an order of pretzels and beer cheese, while my husband got an order of barbeque wings. Everything was about what you’d expect, which is to say, enjoyable! The jalapeño poppers and wings were particularly good, and the ranch for dipping was clearly house-made.
The revelation, however, was the pretzel sticks and beer cheese. Holy goodness, they were AMAZING. Their deliciousness alone was probably the deciding factor in our return visit. When we got carryout on the last night, each one of us ordered the pretzel sticks, lol. Seriously worth the trip!
Thanks for a reliable dinner spot during our vacation!

This place is a hidden gem. There was nothing else open on a Monday except this place. So we went and had the tastiest chicken wings with the sticky bourbon sauce. Spent too much on the Touch tunes jukebox. Deep fried banana rings were exceptional. Bartender was super nice. Would recommend this place to any one looking for a good overall bar in town

Food was good. My daughter and I ordered the Southern style chicken sandwich with onion rings and sweet tea. My husband ordered a tenders basket with dr.pepper, and my son ordered the kids burger meal with pepsi. Nice staff, quickly received our meals. Total for 4 people, $58.99 with tip.

Got the fresh cod sandwich. It was 2 fish sticks on a mediocre bun for $11. It wasn’t even as good as Gordon’s. Philly steak was ok. Both sandwiches mostly consisted of bread with a side of protein. Server did not seem happy…and I felt her because I was not happy either with the food or service. Onion rings were decent…but avoided the generic ketchup
Still tipped more than 20% but will not return or recommend this place
