We dropped in on a Saturday to check out the shuffleboard and have a quick drink. The area was very busy but we managed to find parking in the large strip lot behind the bar and neighboring businesses. The full length table is in great shape and plays well. Long bar with a partial wall divider. The T.V.s around were all broadcasting sporting events. It appeared to be a steady flow of mostly regulars with a few travelers or friends of the locals. Friendly and polite people and seemed to be a mixed age group but mostly over 30 a few were less. Very cool history bar serving a strong mixed drink!

Don’t drink, so I ordered a diet Soda. The bartender warned me that he didn’t know who’s diet it was but that it wasn’t that good. He was being nice to what ever it was I had. Disgusting,Horrible diet soda. Everything else was great. Except a Niners glass….Probably because of my Seahawks Shirt.

Stopped in with my gf…. right off the top bartender had an attitude! We tried to blow it off, but whole place seemed shady and unprofessional. Just seems like a bunch of cranky locals and staff with attitudes. I can get along with anybody, but negativity and rude service from bartenders just turned us off!! Don’t know if the owner is even aware or maybe ownership is complacent in its complicity. I’m a business owner and would never tolerate this from my employees!! We will not be back!!

A nice watering hole with a dive bar feel. The bartenders are great. There drink prices are very reasonable (cash only bar). They do have an outdoor area for sitting and smokers. Jukebox and shuffleboard on the inside. Sometimes crowded and loud in the evenings Friday/Saturday otherwise a very low key bar to enjoy a beer or two.

I LOVE this place! Great local watering hole. Not much changed since it started in 1907 (or somewhere thereabouts)..This place is a historic part of Danville. Everyone there is friendly, welcoming and from the neighborhood. Drinks are cold, strong and reasonably priced. What more could you want?

Classic old saloon with a tremendous amount of history. Cheapest drinks in the area. Very comfortable place to hang out for a few hours. Experienced and knowledgeable staff. Only place with an outdoor smoking area where you can still enjoy your cocktail.
