Terrific first time visit to Elliott Aster in St. Pete. The Radiatore Alla Vodka was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had. Perfectly cooked with a very tasty sauce w/just a slight kick of heat. Paired that with a side of 3 good sized and flavorful meatballs made for a very satisfying and memorable meal. I can also recommend the Brick Chicken with just one bite I could tell it was many steps above the average chicken meal. The fingerling potatoes were cooked just right and went well with the chicken. Finished off the meal with a scoop of the biscotti cookie gelato and it did not disappoint! The portions of all the dishes were big enough for leftovers for each. Highly recommend trying Elliot Aster if you’re in the St. Pete area!

We celebrated our 5th anniversary at Elliot Aster and it was the perfect place for a special night. ✨

We kicked things off with cocktails, and I have to say the espresso martini might be the best I’ve ever had. ☕ My husband also had a cocktail the server recommended and it was excellent.
The meatballs are an absolute must. They were so good I ended up ordering some to go because I already missed them. Seriously amazing.

We started with the artichoke dip and mussels for appetizers—both were fantastic and full of flavor. For dinner my husband had the fish with mashed potatoes, and I had the fish with broccolini. Everything was cooked beautifully and tasted fresh and delicious.

By the end I honestly felt like I didn’t even need dessert… but we got the chocolate cake anyway, and it was worth every bite.

Great food, great drinks, and the perfect spot for a celebration. We’ll definitely be back. ️✨

Great ambiance at this restaurant. Very warm and elegant. Service was on the slow side.. took a while to get through the multiple courses. Cocktails were delicious, appetizer standouts were the focaccia pull apart bread and whipped ricotta. Everyone enjoyed their pastas. The Caesar salad was good but somewhat non-traditional.. didn’t taste like a classic Caesar dressing. The steak although cooked to the correct doneness came out slightly warm to cold which was disappointing. Desserts all solid.

My fiancee and I dine out a bit in all different metros. We happened to be in St Pete for our anniversary and the photos of this place looked amazing.

From reviews, we saw the beauty of this restaurant stood up upon arrival and always elevated the experience. I couldn’t agree more!

I saw some reviews mentioning the food was great, but not the best for the price range, I truly disagree.

The boards are made fresh right at the bar in viewpoint of your table. The focaccia was to die for.

We also had the octopus which was charred to perfection with an amazing eggplant puree underneath.

Our waiter, Chris helped us pick the best drinks to start and wine to pair with our entrees. Throughout he was more a friend than a waiter, continuing to elevate our experience.

For entrees my fiancee has the softest and pillow like ricotta gnocchi with pesto. Myself, one of the better filets I’ve had thanks to the wood fired grill and brikant wine pairing.

For dessert, olive oil Gelato (always recommended anywhere) and mango sorbet.

If you are in St Pete and are looking for a special dinner you won’t forget, make sure to go to Elliot Aster

Dining at Elliot Aster in the Vinoy Hotel was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt elevated yet welcoming—classic luxury with a modern coastal vibe. The service was impeccable: attentive without hovering, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. Every dish was beautifully presented and layered with flavor; you can tell the ingredients are top quality and thoughtfully sourced. The cocktails were creative and perfectly balanced. It’s rare to find a restaurant that nails ambiance, service, and cuisine all at once, but Elliot Aster absolutely delivers. A true five-star gem and a must-visit when at the Vinoy.

First time at Elliott Caster. Restaurant was beautiful. Food were amazing. The Pull Apart Focaccia is a must have. My wife got the 14oz wagyu strip which had to be the best steak in St Pete possibly the whole tampa bay. I had the prime ripeye which was great as well. The only negative would be that the receptionist seem to had a bad day. No smiling, cold responses, very disinterested. We’re gonna chalk it up as her having a bad day. The rest of the services are great. Recommend for special occasions or date night.

The food wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t incredible. The steak was cooked to a perfect Pittsburg med rare & was delicious. The pasta sauce tasted like it could have come out of a can. The focaccia is more aesthetic than it is tasty. The whipped ricotta was super salty, but okay.

The atmosphere is beautiful.

The service in the restaurant was wonderful, but we went to the rest room & my wife and I were chased into the bathroom by the cleaning lady because she wasn’t convinced my wife was a woman. It was bizarre & the first time anything like that has happened to us in 8 years of being together and using women’s restrooms together. My wife very much so looks like a woman… so, not a great experience. I let someone at the front desk of the hotel on our way out know about the situation. They just said they were sorry.

Went to Elliot Aster for Valentine’s Day weekend. The place is absolutely beautiful and every team member we encountered was professional and pleasant.

We started with the burrata appetizer and the pull apart focaccia. The burrata to me was not bad, but just fine I guess. very fresh but with all the ingredients I thought it would be a flavor punch and it just wasn’t. The focaccia bread was really good and we would probably order again.

We shared the filet with bordelaise and the vodka pasta. The filet was cooked perfectly, but to be totally honest it lacked a little flavor by itself and it was not exceptionally tender. For $65 for 8 ounces, we were expecting a pretty darn good steak. The bordelaise sauce was amazing. Again, not a perfect steak, but also not bad.

Now the PASTA was the absolute highlight of our night. The shape of the pasta was perfect for the sauce, and we talked about it all night and the next day when we had the leftovers. We would go back just for the vodka pasta.

I had a few drinks but the espresso martini was a standout, one of the best I’ve had in st Pete. We would go back to maybe sit at the bar and try a few other small plates.

Everything here was phenomenal! Genuinely a stellar experience from beginning to end. Micheal was an absolute gem, service went off without a hitch. Stef at the back bar was so personable, and chef even came out to speak with us a bit about the menu, the entire experience was so immersive and St. Pete has definitely been in desperate need of an establishment within this caliber. The pasta dishes my friend & I got absolutely blew us away, I ate it so fast I couldn’t even get a picture lol. The beef cheek along with the kabocha squash carmelle I mean literally to die for! This was my second time back and it won’t be my last, thank you for the amazing hospitality!

I was visiting my family in Florida, and we were walking around in downtown St Pete’s. We heard this restaurant had recently opened and wanted to check it out. We were late on the reservation and the place was packed, but we were fortunate enough to find a spot at the bar. Every part of the experience was awesome. The appetizers were the perfect size, and the whipped ricotta was a consensus favorite. We all thoroughly enjoyed our main courses, but the kabocha squash caramelle was my personal favorite (unfortunately, not pictured because it was eaten too quickly). The service was just as good, if not better. Brian was incredibly attentive, and he made the meal more enjoyable. One of the managers, Alessia, went through the menu, explaining in detail how some of the dishes are prepared. It was a fantastic experience all around. We will be visiting again because of the delicious food we ate and the excellent service we received.
