Bartender was friendly and fast, burger was delicious and juicy.
Chicken tenders were very juicy and tasty. Lots of sauces to cheese from, lemon pepper. They have wet and dry. Both good. The wet was like mostly butter though.
I also over filled my basket with extra tenders.

Lived in Millersville for two years and finally decided to stop here on my last two days in town before moving. The food was great, the service was great, and the people were great. I had the chicken wings the first day and then had the buffalo pizza. Both were very good. Good beer on tap as well.

We stumbled on Ellie’s Place and I’m so glad we did! It’s definitely a locals spot, which I love! The vibe is super chill, the bar is stocked and everyone was so nice the food is made to order and it was totally worth the wait.

A local’s dive style bar with take out order food counter. Small main dining/drinking area with cocktail tables and rail. Fireplace for ambiance. A cozy separate area on the side with darts and a few tables outside as well. Went there for drinks and wings around 4pm during midweek, mostly local’s. ATM and keno on-site, can pay credit for food and drinks.

I dined in. If it weren’t that this place has a bar they would be out of business. They charged 15.00 for a cheeseburger meal combo the size of a happy meal. The burger was burnt. The atmosphere was okay if you are a tavern type of person. Otherwise I don’t recommend this place.

We went to Ellie’s Place on Thursday night to play Trivia and had a ball! The severs were so friendly and hospitable, and explained everything to us since it was our first time there. The Trivia host was great, we told him it was our first time to play Trivia there and he took the time to explain the game to out, shout out to Charm City Trivia! And the food, wow! We had the wings and winder fries and there were delicious. We are definitely going back, there were about 10 things I wanted to try on the menu. We had a wonderful date night!!!

I’ve been going to Ellie’s Place for a while now, and it’s always been one of those rare spots where you instantly feel comfortable and welcome. From the moment you walk in, there’s a laid-back, friendly energy that makes it easy to relax and enjoy yourself—whether you’re with friends or just stopping in solo after a long day. The staff has always been kind, attentive, and down-to-earth. You never feel rushed or like just another customer. They take the time to remember your name, your order, your favorite seat at the bar. That’s something special.
The environment is what really set Ellie’s Place apart for me. Whether you came in for a casual drink, to catch a game, or to hang out with coworkers, it always struck the perfect balance of lively and easygoing. You could come as you are and be treated with genuine kindness and warmth.
One thing I always appreciated was their music system that allowed customers to pay to pick the songs playing in the bar. It added a fun, personal touch to every visit. My coworkers and I always loved adding our favorite songs to the queue—it made the experience even more enjoyable. On top of that, Ellie’s Place regularly hosted live music and special events, which brought in such a fun crowd and gave the place even more personality. They knew how to keep things fresh and exciting while still feeling familiar and welcoming.
I’m especially grateful for how Ellie’s Place supported local events and causes. I saw firsthand how they opened their doors to community fundraisers and gave space for people and organizations to come together. You could tell that it wasn’t just about business—it was about being part of something bigger. That’s the kind of place you want to keep supporting.
It’s honestly heartbreaking to hear that they’re closing their current location. It feels like losing a cornerstone of the community. Ellie’s Place was more than just a bar or restaurant—it was a space that brought people together. A place where memories were made, friendships formed, and laughter always echoed.
That being said, I truly hope this is just a “see you later” and not a goodbye. I’ll be keeping an eye out for updates and can’t wait to support them again wherever they go next. I have no doubt that wherever Ellie’s Place reopens, they’ll bring that same heart, same charm, and same incredible energy that made their original spot so beloved.
To the whole Ellie’s Place team—thank you for everything. Thank you for the memories, the welcoming smiles, the conversations, the cold drinks, and the sense of belonging you gave so many of us.
