You may notice small inconveniences, however, such as there being no coffee menu, that have you requiring extra assistance from your server.
They have an unlimited prosecco brunch option where you get three different juices to choose from to add to your unlimited prosecco. It was cute, fun, and came in little jars.
Food wise, the portion sizes are large and are just okay. I got a dish, which was a pile of soggy chips with two fried eggs on top. While the eggs and avocado were nice, the rest of the dish was pretty wet. Aside from that, the cornbread was good.
The restaurant was pretty empty, but still the service was really slow. We found out at the end that they were short staffed.
The place is nicely decorated, but I probably wouldn’t come back.
I’m a local resident and have been there twice now. First time for a late lunch, waited for 15 minutes until someone even came to the table (and no, it was not busy at all), then basically had to chase the server down for everything from ordering to getting a refill on water.
Decided to give it another chance and went for breakfast with my family (wife and 4 kids). There were only two other tables occupied – basically empty. The bartender told us to sit wherever we like, we did. After 10 minutes of not even seeing a server, let alone being approached by one, we decided to get up and go to Nate and Al’s for breakfast instead. It takes a while to mobilize 4 kids – about 5 minutes. In that time the bartender didn’t even look up at us, and someone who I assume is the server walked past us without looking at us either.
nobody said anything to us on the way out and so…well- we left.
Shame, we usually run a high bill and tip well…but I won’t be giving this place another chance. And I don’t see the reason you should either. Beverly Drive is loaded with awesome restaurants who actually want customers.
