Elka Bee’s Coffee Shop & Tea Haus, established in 2014, offers a European-inspired café experience in Clackamas, Oregon. With a background in managing hotels and owning restaurants in England, Christine brings authentic English charm to the Pacific Northwest.
The café serves Longbottom espresso and coffee, a variety of teas, and homemade pastries. Patrons can enjoy cooked-to-order breakfast and lunch from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM daily. For a traditional English experience, the café offers High Tea from Thursday through Sunday, featuring finger sandwiches, scones with Cornish clotted cream, and a selection of desserts.

OMG, I smelled the fresh fragrance of coffee from outside, so I had to come in. What a surprise!!! This place is a gem . First time here. This place is crowded and I did not know why. Now I do. The waiting line explains everything. The goodies and pastries I found here are out of this world goodness. The pastery chef was passing on this frog samples: my goodness they are so delicious… The coffee, great and the blueberries scone was just delicious. I would probably come from my grave to enjoy this place.

This is one of those places that feels like a true neighborhood gem — cozy, welcoming, and the kind of spot you end up staying longer than planned. I love the European café vibe without trying too hard. The coffee is solid (not watery), and the pastries is exactly what I wanted for. It’s a great place to meet a friend, or just sit and enjoy a quiet moment with a good book.

We were in Happy Valley and just searched coffee on Google Maps and Elkabees popped up and we decided to give it a shot. So glad we did! We tried their autumn specials, and the pumpkin spice iced white mocha was a total win. Tasty and not overly sweet.
We were hungry, so we got a couple of breakfast dishes. I had the (eggs with broccoli and spinach) which was a solid and healthy choice. The potatoes on the side were crispy and delicious, and the toast with jam was the perfect finish and the avocado toast with an egg was also a hit.
The atmosphere inside is fantastic. It was busy and had a great energy, with tons of seating from regular tables to cozy couches by the windows. We also noticed outlets built into the walls everywhere, making it an awesome spot to post up with a laptop.
We’ll definitely be back. It’s the perfect place for a great coffee, a tasty bite, and to get some work done.

I used to be a huge coffee drinker, absolutely loved it, it was my favorite thing. Then I developed chrons disease. I’ve been unable to enjoy coffee thanks to this for years (10+) now. Recently, I found that my intestines will accept only coffee of an exceptional quality. It has been sooooo rare for me to find a shop that has beans of this caliber, and knows how to use them. Elka Bee’s delivers! My life has changed since discovering this shop, and it feels like being reunited with a lost love. Unmatched coffee and espresso, extremely good food and pastries, and a skilled, professional, and delightful staff. I simply could not recommend a place more than I do Elka Bee’s. Do yourself a favor, you deserve it, don’t settle, just go to Elka Bee’s.

We had the best experience with Sylvia and her team at Elkabees! From the cake tasting to the wedding day, everything was amazing. The tasting was so fun and every flavor was delicious. Sylvia was so kind, attentive, and really helped us create exactly what we wanted.
The cake itself was absolutely beautiful and tasted even better! Our guests couldn’t stop talking about it. Delivery was smooth and on time, which gave us such peace of mind on a busy day.
Highly recommend Elkabees if you want a cake that’s both stunning and delicious, with an owner who truly cares about her couples!

Love this spot!!! Parking lot is a little small, gets busy but this place is worth it. Staff are incredibly friendly and sweet, drinks and food are all very well made, they have the CUTEST mugs and the seating is so fun and homey. Definitely a new regular spot! Portions are big too.

Love this little gem in Happy Valley. Atmosphere is quaint and welcoming. Great little spot to meet a friend and relax over a coffee and a delicious treat or a meal. Staff could be a little more friendly. They aren’t really interested in much more than taking your order but I guess that’s ok. Food is always delicious and the treats in the case are always amazing. Highly recommend you give it a try if you haven’t. Parking can be a little limiting on busy weekends and morning rush.

Super cute place but when I went I was served raw pancakes twice and it was a $18 plate of pancakes with over cooked eggs. The bacon was good of course. My boyfriend got a sandwich that was rather expensive but could easily be made at home. The pastries and coffee however were gray. I would not personally recommend ordering breakfast here. The owner was very sweet and I loved the vibe
