The motel we were staying at listed this place as a place to eat at when it was late at night. While we arrived there shortly after 10 we were told that the “kitchen was closed and the cook had gone home” as if we were supposed to know this. This is an old rundown bar alongside the interstate. It could easily fit into the movie Road House. Best to avoid this place unless your buying or selling or looking to get into trouble.

This place is truly a hidden gem! The wings came out hot, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor—just the way I ordered. I tried the naked wings with dry rub, and they were outstanding. The bartender was quick, friendly, and had everything out in no-time. I also appreciated their transparency about frying the wings in peanut oil—it really brought the flavor to life. The menu is simple but full of solid choices, and the prices are very reasonable. Great food, cold drinks, and excellent service—can’t ask for more. I’ll definitely be back!

Bar hand was nice enough and she greeted me quickly. This is Definitely a road side bar with a lot of older male locals. Its a bar. Only fried food. A few pool tables. I was looking for a place for dinner and this Definitely was not it lol.
That being said, i was welcomed. Left to my own while drinking. No bad vibes. Just not what I was hoping for given some of the other reviews left.

We arrived in Charleston late in the evening to attend a Celebration of Life. Searched for a place to grab a bite to eat so we could head to the hotel for the night. Found this place because of the good reviews and decided to give it a try. We were greeted as soon as we walked in by not only the bartender, but by the customers. We felt very welcome to be there. We placed our order and it came out freshly prepared and hot. Food was very good, I appreciated that we felt welcome after a long day of travel from Colorado and I would highly recommend! Thank you for the hospitality to an out of towner.
