Great place to stop and grab a bite to eat. I had the pulled pork white mac n cheese. It was delicious! The decor and inside of the building is really nice. A great place to visit!

Food has gotten much better since the change!! As a person who lives locally, my only concern when decide whether to go there or not is how long it take to order & receive your meal. The servers have always been pleasant & courteous, especially the male server. IMO, they definately work hard but need help. During our visits, waiting to order your 1st drinks, your meal, and receiving your meal is “Consistently” extreme & “excessive” for those who go there to have a meal versus those who have no plans for the evening except to go there, socialize and eat for a long period of time. Elk Point Resort is likely the longest & consistent wait time I have experienced in my life for places simular to this. It’s a good idea when ordering your 1st drinks, order 2 of them right of the bat. You’ll be done with your 1st drink, with plenty of time to spare before your meal arrives. If you wait to order your 2nd drink when your meals arrives, you’ll likely receive it right before you finish your meal.

Wonderful! We started with the cheddar and cream cheese curds, which were large, crisp, and delicious! Our main course was the Surf and Turf, and the beef tips were tender and flavorful, the butterfly shrimp were big, juicy, and perfectly fried, the meal included crispy fries and an extra side, and we had plenty of leftovers! Highly recommended!

Bo was the most amazing bar tender we have ever had l. From Arizona where everyone is usually very hospitable but Bo was over the top. Quality service and highly recommend. Food is amazing as well as drinks.

Update: Tried it out again tonight. Service was great per usual, and the food was fantastic. The BLT and mac & cheese were top notch. Old fashioned was very good as well. I’m happy we gave it another shot, and I think now I can say that you should try it too. Just maybe not the fish ;).
The bar/restaurant itself is a cool environment. Service was great. Food not so much. Two people got cold food. I got a raw batter fish fry (cooked on outside, very doughy inside). Basically just seemed like the batter was on too thick so it didn’t cook properly. Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were pretty darn good though. The wait staff did make it right which was nice to see. I’ll definitely try them out again but tonight was not great. I’ll update my rating if the next time is better. I sincerely hope it is!
