Holy cow! The tomahawk ribeye meal for two was amazing! My wife and I chose to celebrate my birthday here with a nice meal. Boy was this the right choice! We ordered an appetizer platter, it was super hot and fresh and very yummy! Our salads were crisp and fresh. My wife ordered a mixed drink from the bar and thought it was very good but a let down because she thinks they forgot the good stuff in it. I am all about presentation of food, the steak was presented top notch, salads were great, personally I would find a way to present it with dressing not in little plastic containers, not complaining at all and understand dressing is really hard to distribute to customers and have some type of portion control! Same with the sour cream. I love the low lighting and country feel and small town atmosphere. Loved the candles on every table and in the restrooms! The restrooms were very clean and maintained. The waitstaff were very friendly and punctual. Parking is nice and open and handicapped parking is available right in front of the entrance. I gave this yummy place 5 stars because Elk Creek Steakhouse deserves it! If you have never been here I would highly recommend givin it a try! We will be back again! I am pretty sure you will not be disappointed and leave with an extremely full belly and leftovers for steak and eggs the next morning!

Although our steaks were delicious, (and it was Rally week) the service was about the worst anywhere. I fully understand the demands on facilities being short staffed and under pressure, but assigning wait staff and the system used by Elk Creek was simply inexcusable. When the party of two and the party of four that were seated AFTER our party of four, all were DONE eating before we were served, that took the cake. Something in the SERVICE area is broken here. Great food but leave yourself plenty of time to be able to enjoy it.

We ordered the Tomahawk Surf & Turf. The steak was amazing. Tender & flavorful; best ribeye we’ve had in a restaurant. Everything was packaged to stay warm in foil. It was a delicious meal!

We stopped by for supper after our son’s engagement pictures. It was quiet since it was the middle of the week. Service was super quick and responsive. The steak tips were delicious as was the asparagus! The prime rib hash was amazing! Overall it was a great place for a meal with excellent ambiance and all very clean. We will be back!

The poor waitress did such an amazing job accommodating for the owners lack of ability to run a restaurant. The issues have been the same at this steakhouse for the last 5 years. Only solution the owners see is raising prices insanely. Which don’t get me wrong national shortages run crazy I see them at the restaurant I manage making price increases a must. But $15 for a plain dry bacon cheese burger is aggressive to say the least.
This establishment has been nothing short of a train wreck. Only redeeming quality is they happen to find serves who are amazing.
This place was a laughing stock when my friends had worked there 2 years ago. Was hoping to see it changed. It didn’t.
Also- maybe if the owners weren’t so “professional” and actually did something to better their restaurant it would be worth trying more than once every few years. As someone who runs a kitchen and manages staff at a restaurant it brings me great shock to see how the reviews are handled. It’s a shame to see such sensitivity in owners. No one’s going to sugar coat criticism it’s up to you how you read it.

Walking into this place it looked dark and rundown but we figured the food would be good as I had checked images on maps. We were greeted and seated fairly quickly. Our waiter got our drinks fast. We’ll that’s about all we got. We waited about 25 minutes with our waiter walking back and forth greeting other tables helping around us. She finally came back about 30-35 minutes in and told us that she completely forgot about us. At this point we had lost our appetite and didn’t want to proceed to eat there. Even though she forgot about us she still charged us for the drinks we didn’t even completely finish. She apologized once and walked away to assist the rest of her tables. I finally read through the comments and I’m sure the owner will find a response to this. But forgetting about your customer is completely unacceptable. I hope they train their employees better. I won’t be going back there again unfortunately.

2 stars for the service. Waitress was very attentive and friendly. Online menu is not correct. My girlfriend didn’t finish her meal because the quality of meat was not very good and it was over seasoned. They did not charge us for her meal, which was generous. I had a steak cheese tortellini dish that didn’t have much flavor and the meat was like something left in a crockpot for days. I read some other bad reviews and couldn’t believe how unprofessional the owners response was. The place was dead when we were there at 630 on a Saturday night and I guess I can see why. My constructive criticism would be to change up the menu if the beef is going to be hard to get. I once heard this place was really good, but it looks like it went downhill a few years ago.

We couldn’t wait to try this place since we just moved in down the road. The service was great. The staff was friendly and prompt. The ambiance and food was terrible.
No tablecloths, menus printed on office paper and bad lighting makes it feel like a cheap dive bar rather than an upscale steakhouse. The menu choices were sparce. I ordered a burger and fries. The fries and onion rings tasted like the fryer oil hasn’t been changed in days.
We are very disappointed and unfortunately will not be returning.

I love the Elk Creek Steak House! The owner is a great cook, and his staff is always fun and personable. They are always busy when we go there, but we always feel like the only people in there! The food is AMAZING & the company is always great! The owner’s girlfriend is AMAZING, too! Always comes to greet us and sit with us to chat. <3
