Elizabeth’s food service and atmosphere is perfect. We have been there with many friends anf family. Elizabeth’s will make things that are vegetarian and are very delicious. The coffee is really good. We had the spinach omelette and the encheladas were absolutely perfect in every way. Thinhs are cooked fresh , so don’t expect them to be made quickly. They are worth the wait. The onions and hotsauce , cheese etc. are not overdone and are perfect. I’m a person who is very picky. I find it unsual that I post a review that is saying perfect. Elizabeth’s is worth the trip. This is partly a review from a chef also. Thank you so much. We have also had the egg and bacon breakfast. That is cooked to order and they aren’t over or underly cooked.

Glad we tried this Cafe. Food was great. Avocado burger was juicy, delicious and not greasy. Fresh produce and onion rings were handmade buttermilk, hard to find those, sooo good! The hamburger steak with onions and gravy was also good. Tea was excellent, and refreshing. All the food tasted homemade from scratch. Really great.

Have eaten here twice now food is always amazing! Amazed 1 person seats you and helps with all the cooking. She is a very hard working person. They could use at least 1 other person to help with drink refills especially coffee. Or invest in some carafes to put at the table. Other than that definitely will come back when I’m in town

Great restaurant. Limited from 7am to 2pm everyday so be mindful when wanting to visit here. The place gives off warm and cozy vibes. Food has a wide variety of options to please everyone in your party. Definitely a decent spot.

I ordered cheese enchiladas with chili con queso. What i got was the enchiladas but with regular shredded cheese on top. It tasted like crap. I asked why I didn’t get the sauce I asked for she stated she only makes it for a dip. Then why was I not informed at the time of the order. And I didn’t get a discount for not getting what I ordered. Never going back. That was just bad service.

We were charged more than menu quoted. They are changing the prices but don’t tell you that, just charge you more after you’ve eaten.
Pro: Food was good, I like that the portions were not huge but just right. I had scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes & toast. My husband had the sausage omelet. The potatoes were thinly sliced rounds, I liked the small portion.
CON: Price charged was much more than menu. Scrambled egg breakfast listed as $6.99 – charged $9.99. Omelet listed as $7.99- charged $9.99. Coffee listed as $2.29 – charged $2.99. Tea listed as $2.29 – charged $3.25.
When I asked about the charges. I was told she was in the process of changing the menu. Our bill was $25.96 instead of $19.56. – an extra $6.40. Very sad business practice to not tell us before we ordered.

I stop in once in a while, but never often enough. If you want to go back to a quiet, local, homey place run and owned by a small family, be sure and include this on your rotation of places to eat. I’ve had very tasty enchiladas here, and recently, a very thick juicy avocado burger, which is the best burger I’ve had outside the home in a long time! Quite good. And I love the salsa too, very tasty. Chips made fresh.

I don’t know if I caught them on a bad day, but I was actually very disappointed with the steak that I ordered. I actually ordered a ribeye and they gave me a t-bone instead, but I’ll let that slide because where they messed up was that I ordered medium rare and when they brought it out to me after waiting for about 45 minutes, it was actually overcooked. I had to leave town soon, so I didn’t want to wait even more time for them to correct it. Should I decide to revisit again, I hope they take this into consideration. The reason I went for two stars instead of one was because everything else on my plate came out okay.
