It is a real gem in the middle of Pennsylvania. We stopped by to grab a food on the way from Watkins Glenn , New York back to Harrisburg. We were absolutely amazed by this place. Food is delicious!!! . Presentation of food is so beautiful. Service is top-notch. Atmosphere is amazing. We even had a live music seated outside. Inside is beautiful. It is a real gem !!! . I would even like to come back just for the special event to this place even though it’s one hour plus drive from Harrisburg.! Good job guys. Keep it up.

The food was delicious but limited for those with diet restrictions, (vegetarians, vegan, gluten free, etc). The staff was exceptionally friendly. For the general diet public, I would give it 5 stars but because of the aforementioned, I feel I need to give it 4 stars. I still suggest that everyone should go try this restaurant.

I was returning to Lewisburg (from Boston) for a Bucknell Bison Chips 50th anniversary reunion and discovered this fine restaurant. I was impressed by not only the quality of food, but the presentation. This is no ordinary restaurant. It is cozy bistro painted warm tangerine and soft white with lovely hardwood floors. The overall experience was “city” in terms of its sophistication.
Our food was carefully prepared, (not generic selections), our waitress and Elizabeth (owner) were pleasant and knowledgeable about many items on the menu. The grilled salmon was delicious, spring bistro salad was fresh and for dessert, our waitress brought out a sample tray all desserts for you to see beforehand. Nice touch! We chose the seasonal crisp w/ice cream, fruit. The overall experience was better than ordinary. It was exceptional! We loved the food so much that the next day we had lunch and ordered some elegant drinks (Lemon Cello) and snacked on pulled pork tacos. We will absolutely be returning someday.

Awesome place with a very upscale food/casual feel. Amazing wine selections and atmosphere. Service was a little slow, but they were training. Food came out wonderful, except a portion of my wife’s lamb was overcooked but was promptly replaced with a properly temped piece.
Would recommend it, but it is pricier than most places in the area. The best compliment I can give is there were so many great looking options on the menu that I’ll have to come back to try them!

We celebrated Valentines Day at Elizabeth’s a year ago and I have been so excited to go back ever since. We brought our baby along with us and they seated us in a cozy table right by the fireplace and he slept the whole time. We don’t often get a chance to go on dates and the atmosphere was just magical. We both ordered a little out of our comfort zones and we were not disappointed. The crème brûlée was the perfect finish. The service was attentive and the food presentation was just beautiful. It was the most amazing dining experience I’ve ever had. We will be back.

Simply fantastic! So grateful for the team at Elizabeth’s for making our summer night so memorable. Every server wore a mask, dined outdoors on a patio that made me feel like I was in Europe. Stone fruit & summer watermelon salad were prepared to perfection. Charred octopus with basil was incredible! We really enjoyed the scallop & shrimp linguine special. Dessert of Italian berry tart & dark chocolate mousse cake put a memorable night over the top. Service was smooth and timely..could not have been better. Best of all our waiter went above and beyond and made it one very special night. We will be back for sure!!

An outstanding meal – stumbled on this place in a small unassuming town between Rochester, NY & Washington DC. The meal was superb and the service extremely professional. Their wine selection is excellent and varied. And the desserts -wow! We highly recommend stopping here if convenient.

My dining experience at Elizabeth Ann’s American Bistro had its highlights and a few letdowns. The Seafood Risotto, while featuring well-seasoned seafood, fell short on the risotto’s seasoning, which was somewhat disappointing. On the plus side, the staff, primarily comprised of friendly Bucknell University students, added a pleasant and welcoming touch to the visit. The desserts were a standout, offering a delightful conclusion to the meal. The restaurant’s seasonal menu rotation is an interesting concept that keeps things fresh. I particularly enjoyed the Arancini, which was quite good. The overall ambiance exuded a nice upscale vibe, making it a great choice for a special occasion. In the end, I’d rate my experience at Elizabeth Ann’s American Bistro a solid 4/5.
