Amazing cocktails and AMAZING Decor. Love the vibe. The bartender was exceptional in her craft and human interaction. She made our first visit to the restaurant impeccable. They have an outdoor part out back for fine quality bourbon selections and can bring your own cigar to enjoy with it. I am 100% coming back without a doubt and highly HIGHLY recommend everyone check it out at least once!

Have been here twice and love the place. Drinks are always on point, food from the food truck is delicious (tried their braised beef today and holy moly is it delicious) and both times enjoyed the banter with the staff. So glad we stumbled on the spot in October and decided to stick around instead of going to the restaurant down the road. Exactly what we were looking for at a reasonable price.

If you haven’t been, you need to! This is a great place to meet up with friends, before or after a little downtown shopping. They have a full bar and food, plus seasonal cocktails.

Went here for the first time end of November and likely won’t be back. The bartenders (2 ladies) were both nasty off the bat. I was standing in line waiting to place an order and one of them said “WHAT DID YOU HAVE????” (aggressively) and I said I was waiting to order a drink, and she said “YEAH, I KNOW. WHAT DO YOU WANT?” I’m serious, this was a real interaction. I complimented her and told her I liked her outfit, and she was still nasty towards me for the rest of the night. Also, we got 3 lemon drop shots (celebrating a birthday) and 2 mixed drinks, and after leaving a 20% tip, my bill was $76. Pretty crazy. I should have asked for a receipt. When we showed up and saw how empty it was for a Saturday night, we now realize why. If you have good customer service, business will follow…

Elixir VI is the kind of cozy and welcoming place you’ve always wished you could find. They have excellent drinks, a tasty food truck associated with them that is out back, and a calm, unique atmosphere with fun decor.
I really love the antique furniture that was clustered in small conversation groups, as well as the additional private-ish spaces/cubbies along the side wall.
They also have live music and entertaining special events, so just keep following them to see what’s next!

Walking into Elixir VI and the world outside exhales behind you, the air shifts–with perfumed scent of warm spice and citrus. The warm edison bulbs flicker to life as if they’ve been waiting just for you, casting lazy shadows across blue walls and gilded mirrors. A hush of soft laughter drifts from a nearby corner where friends lean close, their glasses catching light like captured constellations. Velvet armchairs and couches cradle quiet conversations, while behind the bar, bottles gleam with impossible colors; one even glows, ever so slightly, when the bartender passes. You can’t tell if it’s the lighting or a trick of magic–and you don’t really want to know.

They call it whimsical, but really–it’s their Old Fashioned. The kind of drink that feels less made and more summoned. When they craft it, there’s a ceremony to the motion: sugar stirred just so, bitters dashed with the precision of a spell mark, a single twist of orange releasing its perfume like a secret. The bartender doesn’t rush. She moves with the calm assurance of someone who knows time bends for good cocktails. You will find your seat in one of the several cozy alcoves, each space hums with quiet enchantment.

Don’t forget the food out back, part settled, part wizard of flavor, the food truck delights with gluten-free magic for everyone. Every dish is crafted so well, you’ll forget it’s “free” of anything–except compromise.

Clayton is lucky to have this upscale hideaway where alchemy meets ambiance and every sip feels like a small enchantment. Cheers!

I’m so glad a place equally “visitable” replaces the old bottle shop. The staff is friendly and inviting and they have many drink options beyond the usuals. I haven’t eaten from their food truck yet, but I’ve only heard good things about it.
