The birthday cake was delicious and beautifully decorated. The cake was moist and the chocolate mousse filling was light and tasty. Best cake in the area and reasonably priced. Highly recommend bakery!

I’ve been to this bakery many times. They have got to be under new ownership or management because they’ve gone downhill. Purchased $18 of pastries yesterday. 1 Napoleon, 1 Italian Napoleon, and 2 kinds of St. Joseph pastries. Terrible! A bite or two from each and into the garbage they went. Not edible!!!!! Had heartburn all night and today my stomach is upset.
The Italian Napoleon was soggy. The young girl boxing the pastries up should have noticed. The pastry part of the regular Napoleon tasted burnt. It was dry and actually tasted burnt! The two St. Joseph’s were stale. Those pastries should never have been on the shelf for sale. The counter girls should have noticed how bad these pastries were and should never have sold them. You can’t feel when the pastries are soggy or stale (hard)? Two of the four girls working the counter wouldn’t have noticed because they were sharing something on their phone.
Will I go back? Not on your life. Too many Italian bakeries here to buy junk, and expensive junk at that.

I went in for bread. I left with 2 different kinds of bread a pastry and a hot coffee. The service was amazing and the coffee was really good. The rye could be softer, but it’s still good.

My husband and sister stopped here today to pick up some cakes we were craving for tea time. We couldn’t wait to have the cakes later that night. We tried all the cakes and were very unhappy with how old and dry they were. The frosting was good but the cake was hard and dry. I’ve worked at a pastry shop and I’m well aware of the tactic where bakeries would put fresh frosting on old cakes just to sell them. The red velvety slice we purchased has a paper thin layer of cake at the bottom which was a bright red and actually fresher than the other layers which were a darker and dryer brown/red color. Torino’s was even older and harder. We ended up throwing everything away. Sad to say we won’t purchase here anymore. Good business comes with honest workers and fresh food.

Update: I finally got to try their cake slices. I ordered tiramisu, napoleon, chocolate almond mousse, puff pastry with rum pastry cream and a strawberry tartlet. I liked all the cakes. However, tartlet was barely filled with pastry cream and was very soggy.
2022 visit: I liked the cookies we ordered. The Rugelach and Linzer cookies had the right amount of sweetness.

Great pastries. They need to open earlier. They lose so much business. Waiting to be helped and one employee is hanging Christmas decorations while one was serving customers. Hang the decoration once the customers were taken care of. Half hour wait for a cup of coffee and a pastry.

Don’t trust the bad reviews, the Karen’s and Kyle’s can’t help but complain about everything. Have got cookies for every holiday here and all family birthday cakes come from here. The quality and service has never been anything other than exceptional.

We picked up a classic cheesecake, an Italian cheesecake, and a rum baba from Elisa’s Bakery. Everything was fresh and nicely made. The Italian cheesecake stood out — really tasty and worth trying if you stop in. Overall, a solid bakery with good options.
