Service is top notch here. Their brunch buffet has a vast selection of items. My husband enjoyed his choices which ranged from eggs Benedict, prime rib, seafood broil, and desserts. My son and I ordered the ceviche as an appetizer. It is not pictured here. The ceviche was bland and the plantains that came with it tasted stale to me. My son ordered the Citrus Jerk striped bass as his entree. The bass was tender and flavorful (he gave me a bite). He also, highly recommends the bass! I ordered a lobster roll with a side of cole slaw. The roll had a generous portion of lobster. However, it was chewy. The cole slaw was delicious and refreshing. I would not recommend the ceviche nor the lobster roll. My son and I shared the apricots & cream for dessert. We both enjoyed it. With that said, we plan to return. I for one will be trying the brunch buffet my husband immensely enjoyed!

Went for a wedding. Food was really good. Got their steak tips and my boyfriend got cod for dinner-both extremely delicious! Staff was super nice too. The old fashion, unfortunately (even with bulliet bourbon) was not great. I definitely recommend going for the good food and the views. Its a beautiful place by a lake

For a warm, English Tavern atmosphere, fantastic food, and a great wine menu, all served up by a talented kitchen staff and friendly, professional dining room staff…..this is the place to be!! Our favorite for so many reasons. Thank you, Connamessett Inn!! A gem in Falmouth….

The food here was really good. The dollar oysters on Thursday was such an amazing deal, and the oysters were incredibly good. They were so fresh and they left no aftertaste. The beet salad was also really good. Their wings were pretty good. The Cobb salad was solid. The flatbread and quesadilla were also not bad. Our waiter was extremely nice and helpful. They have a huge area. It was a little hard to find, but just remember that it’s in the coonamessett inn.

I have a *severe* gluten allergy & traveling with a large tour group to the Cape sometimes made eating out a challenge for me. This place was awesome. The manager hooked me up! She understood my needs & the seriousness of cross-contamination, she placed my order personally, and that Citrus Endive Salad was phenomenal! Super yum! No issues whatsoever. We had a beautiful waitress who checked on me to make sure my salad was okay… Another lovely waitress who offered me sorbet for dessert instead of that incredible lemon cake that everybody else got… It was just such a nice experience. The whole food allergy thing is such a pain for people like me, a total minefield really, but you all made it so easy. Many thanks & love from Texas ❤️

Tonight my family and I dined at Eli’s Tavern at the Coonamessett Inn. Having been to their excellent brunch in the past, I was excited to finally dine there for dinner. However, it was the furthest thing from the pleasurable experiences I’ve had there for brunch in the past.
We had a 6:30 reservation that we were immediately checked in for. After that it was just a waiting game. Twenty five minutes had passed before we approached an employee asking if we had a server. A server immediately came to our table to take our drink order as well as our food order since we had been waiting for so long and we knew what we wanted.
For an appetizer we ordered the mac and cheese bites special. When our server eventually came over with our drinks she informed us that they were out of the app but would bring over some dinner rolls while we waited for our entrees. Five minutes later our server came back (without rolls) to let us know that they indeed had the appetizer, but were out of one of our ordered entrees (also a special). When our app finally arrived, they were frozen cold in the center. We returned the plate and asked for the dinner rolls that we were promised but never did receive.
When it was time for the entrees, nothing came out at the same time. I was lucky enough to have my bacon cheeseburger delivered first, only to find it cold from the first bite. At this point I had asked to speak with the manager.
More time had passed and we were impatiently looking around the restaurant for someone that looked like a manager. We eventually found her chatting with other patrons and presumably regulars, while we continued to sit there beyond unsatisfied, before tending to our table. This was an immediate red flag to us knowing there was no urgency by any of the staff, or the manager Dawn, to fix our meals or experience. Although Dawn was nice enough to comp our bill, it still left a sour taste in all of our mouths, as we weren’t tempted to order something else for a third time.
I am typically not one to leave a review, especially knowing that all restaurants have their bad days. However, I was so displeased with my experience, it was one that I will never forget.

We go there at least twice a month but will not be going there much anymore as they have raised the price of drinks incredibly high $14.50 for a Captain Morgan and Diet Coke that is ridiculous and they did this on January 1st their slowest season…absurd. It’s unfortunate because we always enjoy the food, bartenders and the weight staff, but will not be paying those ridiculous prices for drinks. They are not even consistent with othe restaurants in the area.

Food is OK.
Atmosphere is rustic with live music
The new manager isn’t very good, is not accommodating at all. We had a party of 6 that wanted to sit outside, they wouldn’t do it even with seating available. For reference they have done it for us every other time we have gone.
