Great tasting food, excellent service, and warm ambiance. The brass was great, simply addictive. The oysters were fresh, flavorful, and tiny, also expensive. All the cooked food was good, but nothing kept me wanting more. I had high expectations for the brisket, but it was slightly dry. The service was very friendly, and always ready to help.

Casual space. Decent service. Ordered Dover sole which was a little dry. My friend had the pork chop which was good. Our feeling was that the food was overpriced for what you are getting.

We came here for my birthday, and most of the food was spectacular. One or two things were a little off (the gnocchi wasn’t the best) and some things seemed a little outrageous as far as pricing goes ($25 for fries, which only come with ketchup, if you’re going to charge me that much for fries at least make it exciting with various dipping sauces?). The wine list was great and everything we had to drink was perfect. Over all a nice experience

Fantastic complimentary bread for breakfast, great service, very tasty food. Prices are as high as other brunch places in New York. Quiet lively music in the background sets a good mood.

Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Incredibly over priced. Eat somewhere else. Quality was fine but a tiny chicken with three carrots and turnips for 48$ was insane. They had a tagliatelle on the menu for over 40$.

Such high quality food, elegant atmosphere where you can talk (and often run into friends!), and easily one of the best wine lists in the world.

When I first entered, I thought the menu seemed a little bit lacking, but then realized that it is because they put such pride into the quality of the food they serve. The Dover soul I had was exceptional, every bite was special, and the wine it was paired with was perfect. Jeremy, the general manager, attentive to all of the customers, while his staff perform their jobs admirably. I learned at the end of my meal, but the kind gentleman sharing a meal at a nearby table was the owner. This is a great neighborhood restaurants that also attracts those coming into town on a periodic basis. I’ll be back!

Classy, charming and a great place for conversation. Also if you are looking for one of the best Old fashioned in the city just go to the bar and ask them to make it how ever they see fit…you won’t regret it!

We were in town for a bachelorette and this was our first dinner in Charleston. The scallops and grits were delicious and overall the food was good. Huge shout out to Raymond for making our dinner so pleasurable and lovely. He gave us a list of his favorite places and we loved running into him as we were in town. Thank you Raymond for your warm hospitality. Our girlfriends and I will never forget this experience!
