I want there for breakfast, and I was not impressed. The portions were not bad, but the food quality disappointed me. I enjoyed the savory portion of my meal, although the home fries were a little undercooked. The sweet portion of my meal, however, was very disappointing. The pancakes were very dense, and had an odd taste. The French toast tasted alright, but it was a very small portion for the price.
Additionally, the menus are outdated and the prices do not accurately reflect the what you will be charged. While they do have a sign out that says they needed to make some budgetary increases, it does not say anything about the menu prices not being accurate. From the wording on the sign, I expected the increase in prices had already been accounted for in the menu, but this was not the case.
The restaurant itself is not in the best condition and can be best described as an outdated and very Christian oriented diner. The service was pretty slow as well, so if you are looking for a place to chit chat, you’ll have plenty of time. This is a good place for older folk to go after church, but otherwise I would not suggest it.

I’m a trucker and was waiting for a dock to open to get my PU. I spotted this place up front and decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did. Good food. The lady who took care of me was so sweet. You got to try her homemade tea.
There is also a bakery connected to the restaurant.

Very disappointed for the brunch, the chef was too slow to make it and waited for 50 minutes.
I think the tea has deteriorated. When I gave up the tea, I only drank hot water and found that the water tasted strange.
I changed the orange juice, the orange juice cup is very sticky. very disgusting.
Maybe the waiters are too busy, but all this is disappointing, I hope they can improve

This is a down-to-earth old style, old-fashioned diner; not a modern cute cafe. It has a fair amount of seating but was pretty empty. I enjoyed the breakfast special and coffee. The hot cakes are tasty and spongy. It smells amazing in there because the room connects to Achenbach’s bakery.

This diner style spot is right on the main strip in Leola. It is a great location because it’s connected to Achenbach’s Bakery! The restaurant is nicely decorated and has plenty of seating. We had the Eli’s breakfast special which is two eggs, potatoes, 2 pieces of bacon, one sausage link, and two pancakes or french toast. Service was fast and food was good and very filling.

The restaurant is very clean. The staff was polite and attentive to your needs. They are open from 6 until 2 daily. I recommend this restaurant. The food and service was so good we went back on Monday. The restaurant is four miles east of 772 and two miles west of N Shirk Rd on Hwy 23.

I felt compelled to write a review after my experience today. I was having a really bad day and joined family at this restaurant for a late breakfast today. I assume it was the owner, I’m not positive, but he kept checking on our table as well as the waitress. He was chatting with us and my toddler. He was so extremely kind and said some really kind words to me. It was something I needed today and I just wanted to share my experience and that I was impressed with their kindness. It’s a nice quiet environment to enjoy breakfast and then there’s a delicious bakery attached to get a yummy treat to go after your breakfast!

This is such a great little place stop by for an inexpensive meal. Quality is excellent and so is the service. They’re open seven days a week from 7am to 2pm. There is another location in Elizabethtown.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience here. Delicious garden omelette (toast was underdone, my only complaint), plentiful fresh coffee. Had a nice chat with the owner. Beautiful setting. Spot on service. Will return!
