Stopped by Eli’s on Whitney on Saturday with my family in between basketball games, looking for a quick but satisfying lunch, and it definitely delivered.
We started with the buffalo wings and the pulled pork nachos. The nachos were fantastic and honestly the highlight of the meal. The cheese sauce was really good, and what stood out most was how well they were layered. Every single chip had something on it, which is not always the case with nachos, and it made a big difference. If I had to nitpick, I’d say a little more meat would have been nice, but overall they were delicious and a great portion for the price.
The wings were solid with good flavor and cooked well, though they didn’t completely blow me away. Still enjoyable. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and thought it was very good. My wife had the grilled chicken sandwich and enjoyed it, my mother-in-law had a salad she was happy with, and both kids ordered chicken bites with fries from the kids’ menu and cleaned their plates.
Service was wonderful. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. We went around 12:30 and the restaurant wasn’t crowded at all. We were seated immediately, which was a big plus given our schedule.
Overall, it was a really good experience with tasty food, reasonable prices, and great service. I would definitely go back again.

We ended up at Eli’s by chance. We showed up to Quinnipiac University too early, as our niece was 45 minutes behind us, so the cop on campus recommended it and so we went there and very much enjoyed a couple of appetizers including the Adobe chicken flatbread and the potstickers. Because she and her mom were arriving late we asked them if they wanted us to grab some dessert and OMG we got the carrot cake and the chocolate cake and the peanut butter pie to go and to say that they were large portions is a complete understatement! we were blown away by the size and she had the best first night of her junior year ever!!!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We have been here twice in the past month; once with friends and once just my husband and myself. Both times were excellent. The food and drinks were amazing, the staff were so friendly and professional and the atmosphere was great. The prices are very reasonable also. This is one of our new favorites. Thank you for a good experience.

Large bar area. Better prices. Minimal parking. Clam chowder was original. Not great but very good. Apps and drinks seem to be your best bet here.

Eli’s always delivers a great vibe and atmosphere, meals always on point, thought I’d need a box but clearly did lol. Haven’t enjoyed a trip to a restaurant as much as I did with Brandon as our host at Eli’s last week. Lots of fun, have a great energy and was super attentive to our needs. Great character and I’ve been to the restaurant quite a bit and haven’t been compelled to leave a review! Brandon’s service is top notch b and folks could learn a thing or too from his approach with guests!

Had a company party. The lot was full, and from what I could see, pretty small. A lot of us just parked on the street or in another nearby lot. Inside, we were directed to.a downstairs room. The room was a decent size for our party. We had maybe 8 tables with seating for 8 people each. There was warm basket of bread and softened butter. We had a bartender that my boss was convinced had an attitude with him! I don’t know…it was ki da weird, but he was nice enough to go search for a prosecco for me! The food.was buffet style. We had eggplant parm, stuffs fish, chicken parm, potatoes ,veggies, salad with a delicious creamy balsamic dressing that I wanted to pick the bowl, and some other stuff i don’t remember. Dessert was a flacky apple tart. There was also a coffee bar. The staff was friendly and professional. I think it was a hit.

The manager of this restaurant (bald with glasses) should be fired. He was extremely rude to walk in guests, slammed menus and rolled eyes when we said we didn’t have a reservation. Very obnoxious and rude to the staff members as well. Wouldn’t go back just to not see that guy again. The food wasn’t bad and our waitress was great.

If you’re looking for great food, delicious drinks and a good atmosphere. Head to Eli’s! We have never had an issue at this establishment. The food is always great (try the chicken bites!) The drinks NEVER disappoint and the service is amazing! I am a bit picky, we had a server once, Dante, who was very kind and patient with my ridiculous needs. A few weeks later, we returned and he remembered all of my allergies and what I didnt like from pur last visit. Needless to say we ask for Dante every time we go in. He’s outgoing, funny and super attentive. Ask for him by name! However, I’m sure all the other servers are great! We had a server named Danielle once and she was awesome too.
Because of the great service we have always recieved from Dante, I’ve even booked my corporate Holiday parties here.
Give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed!

This is not a family friendly restaurant. The hostess tried to stick our family (2 toddlers) in an empty back room when the main part of the restaurant was wide open.
We watched the manager visit all other tables to see how they were liking their experience. He never stopped to see how we were enjoying our meal. Dining area feels like a cafeteria. Eggplant parm was chewy and undercooked. Boneless wings were good.

Outstanding food at decent prices. Very popular and crowded restaurant and bar. Great portions and potent drinks. Sports enthusiasts will be happy with the many screens throughout. Service was very good considering how busy they are. I thoroughly enjoyed the crab cakes which were loaded with crab meat and the philly steak and cheese. Yum! Loved my experience here, it was a good crowd.
