I saw an IG post about this bakery and thought I’d check it out. 1 block away from where my grandmom lived, I stopped by around 6pm on Sat. night before going to my parents. Like that they have late hours but parking is not good and confusing. There is a parking lot nearby, which I parked in, but the sign in the bakery’s window said not to park there b/c you can get towed. Their cakes look amazingly delicious and they have lots of baked good options to choose and this was at the end of the day. I do wish things were labled b/c I was guessing what some things were. I thought one thing I grabbed was a portuguese dessert with custard but as I got it off the shelf it got crushed and peach came out. I still bought it b/c I crushed it but wouldn’t have chosen it if I had known. Got 5 pasteries totaling $10.50 which I didn’t think was bad because I have gone to bakeries in NJ and paid more for less. My parents who love desserts that are light and simple really enjoyed the peach pastery (not pictured) and the pastery with fruit on top. I love rich and sweet (not necessarily sugary) so I was left wanting more from my chocolate little debbie look-a-like cake. I would go back to try a cake but I have too much of a sweet tooth for their pasteries, despite them being fresh and good.

I ordered my kid’s 3yr birthday cake from here. I have ordered cake from here before as well but this time unfortunately I didn’t have a good experience. We ordered Mickey Mouse cake (face) that’s what my kid picked up. The taste of the cake was good but the color they use on top cream layer is horrible. The red and black color which was on the entire cake’s top layer were so strong that it didn’t go away from my kids face, hands and my hands for three freaking days. I called them up and asked if this was safe to eat. They told me nicely it is edible but as a mom I don’t want my kid to eat a food color which doesn’t go away after washing with soap multiple times. I have never ever seen any food color that strong. Even my guests were hesitant to eat it.We ended up throwing it away. It was a $65 cake.
If you want to order from here please go with non colour cakes. I usually don’t post any negative reviews but this is for the future customers and for the bakery to start using a food color which isn’t that strong or atleast let the customer know about it when they are ordering it.

We absolutely loved this cake that we custom ordered from Eli’s. It was a hit at our party everyone wanted to know where we got it. Also kept getting comments on how delicious it was!

My experience has been wonderful! The variety itself is mind blowing, so many choices. I have not been disappointed and the staff are always willing to help, A smile and a thank -you go a long way. So many compliments to the bakers, But the shortbread cookies are my go to. The prices don’t break the bank, and they keep me coming back!

I saw an Instagram post on this place, I had never thought about it before but took a flyer on it and told some people about it. After getting good word back I tried it myself and have to say its great. Lots of choices at all hours and the price is not crazy. The churros, especially if u get them fresh are wonderful. Parking is the only gripe, but its norristown, parking stinks in norristown – dont let it keep you from the quality bakery here.

Eli’s Bakery made the cake for our wedding and it was amazing! It was delivered on time and looked exactly how we pictured. The cake was so delicious and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how good it was! The raspberries were so fresh and the tres leches cake was perfect. Their pricing was also so reasonable compared to all other bakeries we looked at for wedding cakes. We couldn’t have had a better experience.

I stopped by to pick up a birthday cake and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The bakery itself appeared unclean, and the customer service was lacking, the staff member assisting me was unsure about the cake fillings, which made ordering more difficult than it should have been.
I also want to mention the parking situation so others can avoid the same issue I faced. There is a large parking lot directly in front of the bakery that appears convenient, but it is owned by another business. There is a small sign indicating not to park there, but it’s very easy to miss. I parked there briefly and my car was towed almost immediately. The towing company then contacted the bakery and required $200 in cash to release the vehicle. While I recognize that parking there was ultimately my mistake and I am not accusing the bakery of wrongdoing, clearer and more prominent signage warning customers would be extremely helpful.
During my visit, I also noticed water leaking onto the floor and flies in the bakery area, which raised concerns about cleanliness.
I’m visiting family from New York and wanted to share this experience so others are aware. I’m leaving this review mainly to help future customers, both regarding the parking situation and the overall condition and service. Unfortunately, due to poor service, cleanliness concerns, and lack of clear parking warnings, this was not a positive visit.

This panederia/bakery is always fresh and warm and busy! They have a lot to choose from and they also make cakes and little desserts they look so good.
