I placed a carryout order for chorizo tacos and a chicken quesadilla. My order was supposed to be ready at 3:05p and no one checked me out until 3:36p. I don’t know if they were short staffed but they just seemed unorganized.

Coming back from Cali I already miss these treats. I happen to be in the area so obviously had to visit! I’m so glad I did.

It’s always a treat to go here. Love this place. So many ice cream flavors and options I had never heard of before. This place introduced me to Mexican ice cream and im hooked. I used to live about a mile away from here. It was a perfect excuse to take my Sunshine (my pup) on a walk, while trying to justify the ice cream. Give the Wyoming location a try, it won’t disappoint! Also, try the mangonada if you line tamarind and enjoy tangy and sweet flavors.

Normally the service is good but today it was trash!!!! My son was trying to order the Hawaiiana sandwich and kept getting cut off by a Hispanic female that was not the owner. The owner son was explaining what’s on it and the other woman was talking about ham! Long story short no obs was listening to him say he wants chicken because he doesn’t eat pork!!! Then I was trying to get my Tiny one ice cream but by that time I had said forget this and left. Went down the street to get ice-cream and to the new Mexican restaurant on Burlingame & Prairie Parkway… way better customer service. Elie just lost a customer!

Don’t sleep on Elie’s Ice Cream. I was having a mid winter ice cream craving and this was the only place we could find open besides cold stone (no thanks!). I got ice cream with churros….the churros were made on the spot and I’ll definitely be back.
