The atmosphere was so beautiful, the ambiance was everything brought back alot of memories from when my parents were alive. The food wasn’t that great in honesty, I was disappointed actually food looked great just didn’t taste as I expected. Had the joy of experiencing Elicious while far from my Tennessee home this week. The fried chicken was so juicy and flavorful! It was delightful to be greeted with a lovely poem, both spoken and signed (ASL) by the very kind host. The service was fast and friendly, even with the place packed to the gills. I should have gotten a shot of the food BEFORE I demolished it, but it was too yummy! Very glad to have been able to visit this historic place.

This place was awesome. The service was amazing waitress our went through the menu with us being our first time there. She recommended the fried catfish which I pretty much had my mind set on that as soon as I saw it and it did not disappoint. Im not sure what my sisters had.I was too busy stuffing my face but if I recall they did not have any left overs. It was about an hour drive for us but totally worth it. So Hats Off to everyone at Elicious ❤️❤️

The restaurant was extremely nice from the moment I walked in. The food came out fresh and hot, the service was excellent, and the entire place was very clean. The owner was attentive and aware of everything going on, which really showed how much they care about their guests’ experience.
I ordered the deep-fried pork chop with scrambled eggs and grits, and when I say it was excellent, I mean it gets a 100% in my books. Everything was cooked just right and full of flavor.
I will definitely be back, and I’m thankful that I finally came into this restaurant. Highly recommended!

Great location with plenty of parking in the back. The hostess & waitress were exceptionally friendly & professional. The dining room was spacious with lots of natural light. The smooth R&B added to a pleasant dining experience. Their food was very tasty & delicious. The meal reminded me of my childhood home cooking. We ordered the Salmon croquettes with grits & scrambled eggs & the fried Catfish fillet with grits, scrambled eggs & pancakes. The best value for brunch in STL.

I ride my bike past this restaurant almost every day and decided to stop in.The food was absolutely fantastic! This restaurant is a total vibe! It is soothing, calm, and definitely in motion! My server, Millie, was absolutely outstanding! She was friendly. She was personable, and she was fast! I’m from Florida visiting St Louis. I found Elicious when I was searching for a good southern restaurant. I arrived at 12pm. It was busy. I was seated within minutes. I ordered this Shrimp & Grits. They arrived cold, not even warm!! The grit was cakey- beyond just thick!! It was dry and not even sauce and lacked flavor!! I waited to receive silverware and took awhile for even get my coffee.
Was disappointed having to take a 30 minutes uber $50 to and from this place and the food was not even meh… it was bad!! I do not recommend this place!!
