I’ve driven past this spot dozens of times since they set up. I finally tried it after reading the reviews. I did not go expecting to find “authentic” Mexican food or the best tacos in the area. I went because many reviews said it was good. For the negative reviews, I agree it is on the pricey side. I would go back for a gordita but not a taco. But to the review…Great food truck setup in the community off Stewartown Road with ample parking. Nice, clean area to sit and eat and it even has an outdoor sink connected. The cook is very nice and the food is pretty good. I liked the chorizo gordita and the steak taco was good. The hot sauce was delicious but it was interesting as it turned solid when it became cold. The birria taco was disappointing. The birria taco was not bad but it wasn’t very good either. The taco was fine. The birria (consumé) was not.

Nov 2024. An unexpected surprise. In the middle of this neighborhood in Gaithersburg, there is a semi-permanently situated food truck. Complete with picnic area and tables. The Gorditas rate a nine out of 10 and the steak tacos were a seven out of 10. Friendly service too! There are gluten-free options

Great place. Absolutely love the outdoor setting and food is amazing. Even during the winter time you can enjoy your food outside in a covered and heated area. Visited this place a few days ago and let me tell you, one of the best birria tacos I ever had. It was flavorful and tender, the consume was so flavorful, I wanted to drink it as soup. We also tried the gorditas and it was so delicious. Definitely recommend. We will definitely go back to try other dishes. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was amazing.
