Regarding the food, we enjoyed the richness and creaminess of the Chicken Lemon Soup, which was delicious and large enough to easily serve two people. The Chicken Souvlaki was also excellent; the meat was perfectly grilled, juicy, and flavorful. We were unable to finish it, however, due to the very generous portion sizes served throughout the meal. Finally, we thoroughly enjoyed the Kataifi dessert.
For the appetizers, we ordered the trio spread and the chicken meatballs. While the hummus in the trio spread was a favorite, we found the Tzatziki to be bland and had to add salt and pepper to improve it. The Melitzanosalata was good but could have benefited from a bit more heat. The chicken meatballs were cheesy, but the accompanying sauce was slightly too garlicky for our taste.
Parking was hard to find and had to make few rounds to find a spot.
We are certainly going again and very soon!
Bobbi was the perfect person who take care of all what we need, she is Professional
For appetizers, we had Trio Spread (we chose pita, hummus, greek yogurt dip, greek eggplant dip) and Chargrilled Octopus. Both highly recommended.
For soup, we had the greek lemon chicken soup and the soup of the day, banana peppers which were not spicy for us although the server warned us about it. Both also highly recommended.
For entree, we had pastitsio, moussaka, boston crod fillet, fillet sandwich and crab cake. All tasted very very good. I had the crab cake which had big lumps of crab and enough seasoning with just enough binding stuff. Very delicious taste of real crab.
Our server was great and attentive. The Greek fries were delicious to start, pastitsio was the best l’ve had in the USA. We plan on visiting again with friends and family.
Elia is a beautiful restaurant with a great staff and delicious food and drinks. We had an incredible meal here and I definitely recommend visiting. I plan on coming back, too.
I had the Greek Lemonade cocktail, which is made with ouzo. Ouzo is Greek Sambuca so it had a delicious licorice flavor. I really enjoyed it.
My Mom and I shared the grape leaves and Melitzanosalata, a Greek eggplant dip. Flavors were on point! Both were fantastic.
Elia has a great kid’s menu so my son was pleased.
For lunch I had the Elia Salad with Shrimp. It was so good. Refreshing, flavorful and loaded with ingredients.
One suggestion I’d offer is to consider spacing the high-top tables a bit farther apart or possibly removing one or two to create more room. We were seated at a high-top in the corner and had to ask another party to move twice so we could get in and out of our seats. Additionally, the group behind us kept leaning on the empty chairs at our table, which made the space feel a little cramped and uncomfortable.
Overall, we had a very positive experience and would definitely return again!
