We found this place on Google and decided to stop by – and wow, everything was so delicious! Especially the fried pies – they were amazing. It’s a small, cozy bakery with a warm, homey feel. You can really taste the freshness and care in their baking. Highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area!

This is a great Amish bakery. Best donuts and my favorite pecan fry pie. The money wheat bread is great as well.

The most delicious donuts I’ve ever tasted! I felt it in my toes! Off the beaten track, just an open sign in the window and the smell of amazing things happening. Highly suggest a nice morning drive to this wonderful bakery.

We went there today on a whim. We are in Pennsylvania for a family reunion and decided to take a day trip down into Maryland. Soooo worth the drive in! The donuts were already sold out, but the hand pies were amazing! Warmed up for 30 seconds they were even better! We also got some wonderful yeasty rolls to put butter from High Country Creamery on – a perfect pairing! I wish we’d bought more. The woman in the bakery – Annie I’m assuming – was wonderful and sweet!

Wonderful little shop — smell of delicious fresh baked goods embraces you as soon as you pass through the door. Got cookies, donuts and fry pies which were all heavenly. Lovely conversation with the young lady at the register. Looking forward to returning whenever we’re in the area.

Picked up one of their fry pies at a coffee shop in Meyersdale and then used the label to find the shop. Bought a large selection of fry pies. Don’t make me choose a favorite. Good doughnuts too.

Best little bakery this side of the Mississippi! Drove 1.5 hrs and was not disappointed. Fried little pies, coconut cream pie right out of the oven, yeast rolls , pecan maple frosted cookies etc!!! Prices can’t be beat. I will definitely make the trip again to the quaint little town of Grantsville.
