The museum was spectacular; the food at Eleven has not changed in, well, 11 years. The fries were not fresh and merely tepid. The hamburger was edible but bland. My wife’s meal was less than savory. The bottled water was great (spring water from Hot Springs). The pickle spear was bread & butter, not dill. For nearly $60 for two, I advise an omission of the restaurant. There is a coffee bar we did not try at the other end.

The burger and fries are the best bet here, and it is solid but not necessarily spectacular. Your mileage may vary on the other menu options, but I feel that the food is generally decent. But really, are you going here for the food? The main reason to grab a bite here is for the spectacular setting. I also truly appreciate that Eleven gives you a real glass when you order a fountain soda. It adds a very nice touch of class and the simple fact that your drink is in a glass elevated the whole experience.

Had pork and grits and it was cold, like it had been prepared earlier and had been sitting near a warming lamp for a while. Also got a salad, which was pretty good for an area where most restaurants have gross salads if they have one at all.

Lovely views and great coffee and lunch spot, watched the kids play checkers from the restaurant. So fun!

Our family really enjoyed our visit. It was a bit rainy so we were limited on our outdoor time, but the museum did lend out umbrellas. I thought the architecture was beautiful. My kids enjoyed the area where they could make their own art pieces for the portrait wall.

So. Bad. The location is beautiful and convenient. That’s all. Ordered a kid’s grilled cheese meal. Thick dry bread, thin layer of very greasy cheese. Kid ate one bite and was sad. I tried a bite and made the same face. Soft/mushy grapes and strawberries, a few that looked actually rotten. About 8 seasoned fries (not bad seasoning but fries were cold). I ordered corn bread with honey butter. The corn bread was strange, very dark brown, and overcooked on top/bottom and mushy in the middle (not in the good way). Honey butter was a half-thawed and grainy blob. That and two drinks was over $20 and we left most of it at the table. I know we’re paying for location/convenience, but how is it possible to mess up corn bread and grilled cheese with 700+% markup.

Stopped in for happy hour and ordered chicken wings off the ‘bites’ menu. They arrived definitely not fresh, seemed to be leftover from lunch, maybe? Lukewarm and chewy rubbery skin on the wings. Very disappointing.

Eleven has breathtaking views and light, tasty food that satisfied after a long day. The menu had lighter lunch fare which was artfully arranged and a seasonal cider (pumpkin spice) which was delightful.

Ate lunch today. The food has deteriorated significantly since we were last here 18 months ago. The chicken sandwich was very over fried, french fries were all salt, had to hunt for the meat in the muffalata. The bread was way too thick on all sandwiches.

Loved the views and food here! I had the Crispy Pork Loin Sandwich with fries. It was very filling! The sandwich contained pickled pears, arugula and apple butter aioli. It all blended perfectly together and made for a very tasty sandwich. Additionally, the fries were well seasoned and wasn’t too salty. It’s definitely a must try when visiting the museum.
