The service at Elevation 89 is genuinely sincere and thoughtful. We were greeted immediately when we walked in the door and when we sat at our table. Our server was professional, patient and more than helpful as he checked on our table four times throughout dinner. His suggestions for food and options were spot on. Our dinner was delicious, served in elegant dinnerware and cooked exactly how we asked. It’s not often when my mother tries to explain how pink she wants her burger, it comes out exactly as she wants. The prices are more than fair and the view of the active runway elevates the whole experience. I highly recommend making a reservation as the restaurant quickly fills up, especially the window seats. We stopped by Elevation 89 for lunch on a Saturday afternoon around 2 PM with some family — our first time dining there, and overall we had a very enjoyable experience. The setting is really cool for a casual meal, with big windows overlooking private planes landing and taking off — a nice treat you don’t get at your everyday restaurant. 
We started with the chicken nachos as an appetizer, which were a hit with the table. For our mains, we tried the wagyu beef sliders, the OCF Belly Buster Mozzarella Chicken, and the Chef salad. Everything was good, flavorful, and felt like solid value for the price — not nearly as expensive as airports usually are. 
Service was friendly and attentive, which made the relaxed atmosphere even better. Since it was a quiet time of day, it felt peaceful and our server had time to check in without rushing. The vibe was casual, perfect for a laid-back lunch or for visitors wanting a nice meal before or after a flight.
Overall it’s a great local gem with good food, reasonable prices, and a fun aviation-themed view. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a pleasant, relaxed lunch in Ocala!

I visited back in April with my parents who had come from all the way overseas. While they are separate businesses, flying in there through the FBO was not even remotely a hassle, and a quick pleasant experience.
Inside, we were served immediately as we had made a reservation and were greeted warmly by a server. She made great recommendations and my parents were pleased with the service.
The food was all great. We enjoyed each dish and I recommend this place to any pilots who want to do a stop-over at an airport restaurant.
Definitely recommend the bread pudding!

Pleasantly surprised! First time here, our server was Aaron. We received excellent service. He made us feel welcomed and explained the menu and recommended various items. Husband ordered the grilled grouper sandwich with Mac & cheese as his side. I had the mile high club and cheddar broccoli soup of the day as my side. Both lunch items were very good. Absolutely no complaints. Look forward to returning!

Lobster spring rolls, very good, must be taken apart in the back, I did get a couple pieces of shell, but delicious, crew carefully.
Osso bucco, delicious, although, not a lot of seasoning, so very bland.
Shrimp and grits, very good, similar issue, very bland, but big shrimp!
Strawberry cheesecake was excellent.
Overall, the view is great, planes taking off and landing, loved the setting. The service was great, all staff were friendly including the bussing staff. Would certainly recommend but talk a seasoning salt packet with you. Will absolutely return.

So that is the reason for a 2 star.

Had Samantha as our waitress and my wife had the Steak and shrimp and I had the lamb porterhouse both were cooked perfectly and presented very well , we did have the lobster egg roles appetizers and the bread pudding for desert . Totally great food – they did hit the ball out of the park . Thank you and we will be back in the near future.

Fantastic sunset views of the runway! Delicious food! Outstanding service from Ryan! Very kid friendly too! They even have a playground just outside the dining room! Reservations are a good idea for sure! Highly recommend!

This place was AMAZING! The beef strogonoffe was incredible. The meat was perfectly tender and not chewy. The restaraunt was beautiful. This joint is a hidden gem Sarah our server was amazing! She was so polite, sweet, & genuine! My toddler is on the spectrum and she was so understanding. She made us feel comfortable there and not feel like we stuck out like a sore thumb. There’s an adorable playground next door for the kiddos too. So perfect!

Sitting alongside the Ocala Airport, Jim Taylor Field, Elevation 89 is amazing!
1.) The food Quality is consistently excellent!
2.) The service is never mediocre!
3.) The restaurant and all equipment on the customer side is clean!
4.) The Grouper served is actually Grouper (not Swai).
5.) 89’s Bison burger is my favorite.
6.) The Grilled Tai Shrimp Salad is my second choice when I’ve had grouper a day or two before.
I work here at the airport and the only complaint I have is that they attract too many local diners during the lunch and dinner hours…lol-kidding. We eat around the Rush and never have issues.
You’re got to try them out!
