I had the soup and chicken quesadilla with lunch. The soup was great while quesadilla salsas lacked heat. One of the options was even sweet. Their coffee and baked goods is great. Nice location, will try something else next time.

Everytime I’ve been in here everyone is smiling and friendly so im not sure what the other recent reviews are talking about. The food is good and convenient. Way better than the other grab and go lunch place I went to down the way that served me brown avocado. Lots of gluten free options which I appreciate! Also tons of fun treats and goodies for a quick gift if you need it.

I’ve been here a couple times recently and may I say, the service has never disappointed. There is always a smile on everybody faces, and even though i’ve only been here a few times- my usual server Maddy already knows my name, my wife’s name and both of our orders. Maddy has gone above and beyond to make sure my food is met to quality standards, and I appreciate the way she remembers us. My wife is gluten free, and she explained all of Elephants options and how they can adjust to her needs. I would say we our very pleased with our experience. The tomato soup and pastrami reuben is my new go to! Excellent little spot.

Excellent experience in every way . Tessa was working the register. She was especially pleasant. And extremely courteous when I had a difficulty. She was very patient and helped me a great deal. I thank you all. The food is always extraordinarily good. And the staff is always very very pleasant these days

Food is meh. For the price you would expect to get high quality food for the food. I think it caters to the demographic around the area. Bland predictable flavors for people with deep pockets. Husband got a steak sandwich with 1-2 slices and a bunch of bread. Korean chicken sandwich was not very crispy and the Caesar salad had no flavor.

The people who work there were nice though.

This elephant’s deli is amazing. They even have gifts wine places to sit and they have fresh food and it’s decked out for the holidays. I love that they have ready to go dinner that you can just pop in the oven for your family. I highly recommend stopping by this location.

The cold food is delicious, but I ordered a sandwich from the hot sandwich bar, a steak chimichurri sandwich that was pretty bready and almost completely cold. Maybe spent 20 sec under a heat lamp to begin starting to melt the cheese. Taste was good, but between this and the stone cold side I got, I don’t think I would order from the hot bar again.

So, let’s see, where do I start?
I stopped by Elephants Deli in Lake Oswego earlier this evening to pick up a sandwich and ? for dinner. I’ve never been to an Elephants but heard a few good things about them so I thought I’d give it a try. Wow, was I ever misinformed and disappointed. I was told they were out of the sandwich I initially wanted to order, I wondered how could they be out of deli meat? Well, I later find out that their sandwiches are all premade, and they sold out of the “premade” sandwiches. Apparently they aren’t freshly made as I so stupidly assumed was done at a “deli”. So… I ordered a pork, broccolini & mozzarella sandwich. After about 10 minutes, I noticed a small sandwich being pulled out of a deli cooler, and thought that this couldn’t be my sandwich, boy was I wrong. (this was when I came to the sudden realization that their sandwiches are premade). The sandwich was taken from the cooler and put it into a quick heat oven and then packaged (put back in some of the same paper wrapping from the deli cooler). Hoping this was going to be a phenomenal $14.50 sandwich. I took it and my sweet potato tots and headed home. En route I decided to munch on my marble sized sweet potato tots on the way home, apparently all 9 of them.
Getting home and examining my sandwich, I was less than thrilled. While I love fresh ciabatta bread, but this def wasn’t fresh. I could barely bite into it and chew it, it turned out to be what was basically pork flavored bread, broccolini stalks and unmelted mozzarella . Please refer to the accompanying pictures.
So $17.50 for a small below subpar sandwich and 9 marble sized tots, (although “they/the tots” were ok) I’m definitely regretting my visit to Elephants.
An Elephants I wish I could forget!

Hot bar sandwich was terrible. Got a chimichurri sandwich and it was mostly bread, extremely light on the meat and for a premium price I would expect twice the quality.

I’ve always been a fan of their grip and go, but I won’t be visiting their hot bar again

The food is always excellent at Elephants. Just a little pricey ($14.50 for a sandwich with no sides or chips). Plan on about $20 for lunch here (including 15% gratuity). I was hungry again a couple hours later.
