Second time here for dinner and enjoyed everything and everyone.
Food is excellent, fresh and savory.
We had this time salmon miso soup, cucumber salad, grilled salmon collar with ponzu sauce, ginger marinated cod, all of which we highly recommend. Also black fig Margarita was delicious and beautiful looking!
Sorry we didn’t have room for desert!
Next time, I promise.

One of the best sushi places I’ve been to! The service is excellent, and everything we ordered was delicious, nothing disappointed. The cocktails were great too. Overall, zero complaints. We had a really good experience, and this was actually our second time visiting. Highly recommend!

Great menu with high quality fish. Omakase was very good but I wasn’t super impressed by the rolls.
The service was excellent, kind. And the place was nice. Perfect for a date or a group .

Walked in on a busy night without a reservation and they worked hard to get us a seat. Ordered 3 rolls, including the Flaming Sea Bass (see videos). All were fresh, flavorful, unique, and delicious! Flaming Sea Bass was exceptional and well worth the cost.

Elephant Sushi is our favorite neighborhood spot. The interior is clean and modern with just the right touch of Japanese style, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the waitresses strike the perfect balance—attentive without being intrusive.

The food is consistently delicious, and the quality never disappoints. Our go-to dishes are the salmon miso soup and the soft shell crabs—which we honestly think are the best in the city. (If you know somewhere that does them better, we’re all ears!)

For the quality of both the food and service, the prices are incredibly reasonable. Highly recommend.

This is a solid spot for fresh, creative sushi in a modern and clean setting. Parking was surprisingly easy, which is always a plus. They offer a happy hour from 5-6 pm, but the selection felt limited–just four drinks and about four food items.

The sushi we ordered was definitely fresh, but it could’ve used more seasoning. The spicy tuna and spicy hamachi had plenty of heat, but lacked depth in flavor. The salmon kama was juicy but a bit bland, and the “Couple of Babes” hand rolls we tried also needed more seasoning to really stand out.

Mocktails were okay–the spritzes were refreshing, but nothing too memorable. Prices are on the higher side, but the service was friendly and efficient, which helped round out the experience.

FyI my sushi ratings are tough as I’ve been to Japan 120+ times. Reservation recommended during weekend.

Had omakase here. Fish grade is 4 with thicker cuts. While some toppings make sense on the nigiri, there are two out of 8 I didn’t quite find it matching. Hokkaido Uni (not part of omakase) is fresh though. Nigiri Rice, HOWEVER, was worse than expected rating at 3. The vinegar was a bit too much and really destroyed the nigiri omakase experience as a result

Also, while it’s not fresh wasabi (as I don’t expect in US do so no worries), the wasabi paste was dry and old. Ginger is mid, just the regular ones you can find from packages

Atmosphere and cocktails are fabulous and the ambiance and atmosphere matches. All in all 3.7 for the world, and 4.1 for North America only.

Absolutely fresh and delicious food. As sashimi lovers we were not disappointed in the wide array of raw and delicate chpices. The desserts we tried – Japanese pudding and Yuzu Cream – were also light and fun. As was my cocktail – the Blackberry gin fizz.
10/10 would go back.
(Just don’t try to eat the decorations on the dessert plates )

First thing I noticed when I walked in was how welcoming and friendly the staff were. The restaurant has amble seating in a vibrant, modern atmosphere. I thought our the fish in our Red Dragon and White Out rolls were really fresh, although the rolls themselves were not particularly unique for sushi on the pricier side. I’m not sure I would come back because of this but overall had a good experience.

Initially walking into this place, we loved the vibe and the interior design. The host was able to seat us before our reservation which was nice. We immediately could feel the volume of the restaurant and with the tables along the bench so close together, it was hard to hold a conversation. We then had to wait almost 20 minutes before anybody even brought us water or took our drink orders. It could have been an off night or somebody called in, but the service was just very slow. Saving grace was when our orders were taken, food and drink came out fast – besides our roll which we had to remind them of. I would have given this place 4 stars if the food was out of this world, it was definitely good but not good enough to overcome our frustrations. Not sure I’d recommend this place beyond their Japanese market menu.
