I started with the Bees and Knees cocktail, which was delicious. We shared the Brussels sprouts appetizer (without prosciutto), and it was a definite hit. I also enjoyed the salad that came with the Baja fish tacos. I’m not usually a fan of soft-shell tacos, but I appreciated that they toasted the shells — it made all the difference.
The Bears game was on (and we won!), which added to the lively, upbeat vibe in the restaurant.
For dessert, I tried the bread pudding. The flavor was nice, but it was a bit too thick for my taste. I cut it in half and asked for extra sauce, which helped.
Overall, great food, great service, and a fun atmosphere. I’d definitely come back!
we took the chance. they texted us and we were seated within ten minutes.
the fish and chips made my kid super happy he ate it all and he loved the chips he ate all of that too! i see reviews saying the portions were small, but this was a sizable, respectable piece of haddock. it was substantial. i had fish tacos and i loved them. the salad with it was also delicious. and we shared this brownie. holy cow. YUM! i’m glad we stuck around. maybe they try to get folks to drink at the bar before their meal? not sure. maybe the host and the wait staff are on different tracks. my kid will want to eat here again. i’m down.
