Food was way too salty, definitely not Mexican food. They sell only Tex-Mex food. The salsa was watery and salty. Atmosphere was mediocre. The service was mediocre at best, as well. Had to keep asking the waitress for simple items, like an additional silverware piece. If ordering a bottle of any drink, don’t expect an actual glass to pour it in. I’m being generous with giving it a two star review.

Most do not know, Elena was named for a beautiful mother of three beautiful daughters. Those that knew her always mention her wonderful home cooked Mexican meals. Luz makes sure Elena the restaurant continues to offer excellent home style Mexican Tex-Mex food.
My last meal there was Chicken Enchiladas with sour cream sauce…a meal most places get wrong. Again the Miss Elena legacy came shining through. The chicken was tender, well seasoned and fresh. The sauce was devine. The Refried beans could not be improved as so with the rice.
The salsa is perfect for the chips or added to any dish, the iced tea was excellent. The dining room is large and quiet and that allowed myself and my guest to be able to visit and enjoy our excellent food.
The parking lot is plentiful, no tight squeezed in parking or door dings, I appreciate that. The staff is so friendly, mindful of your needs…how many places just bring the food and are never seen again…this is the place you want to eat in every regard.
Five stars don’t seem to be enough…and that many decades of Mexican Food experience talking. Paris is blessed to have the restaurant.

I asked for med rare beef fajitas last two times I visited, both times well done. Said something to manager who told me that the fajitas are not cooked to order. She said they are made at 3 am. So my fajita were made 13 hours before I ordered them. Not right, not good. And not fresh. That is wrong.

Unfortunately the chinichanga with fajita chicken had a strange taste. Possibly lard? Not sure. The house margarita tasted like a candied apple or something and was neon green. The cheese dip and chips were yummy. The service was okay.
