The picture that I shared is of their Is CHRIZO-queso dip appetizer they bring it out like a steaming hot thing fajitas. The veggies were cooked perfectly. Our service was great the hostess had wonderful cute adorable braids in her hair it was awesome experience we got there right at a perfect time too Lunch was ending and the beginning of the night crowd was coming in and so it worked out perfectly it was nice and quiet we enjoyed our dip and our drinks then got on our way.

This place has changed ownership. The bar has revamped and the Margaritas are outstanding. Food is always good.

A pleasant place to dine in Candler. The raised metal pictures on the walls are colorful representations of traditional Mexican pastoral scenes. The menu is extensive and the staff is friendly. I ordered the Plato Azteca. It was good, and included cactus as one of the ingredients. I never had cactus before, and it added an interesting dimension to the dish. Something I don’t like about the Mexican restaurants in NC is that the food is very bland – no heat at all. Mexican cuisine prides itself on a generous use of a wide variety of peppers. I know the local restaurants are catering to the bland palettes of the local population, but I would suggest they ALL bring hot sauce(s) to the table for those who wish to eat their meal with authentic flavors.

Portions were generous. The staff were all very friendly and the service was fast. I had enchiladas Verde. The chicken was tender and there was plenty off it (the enchiladas were big and full). The Verde sauce was good. I didn’t find it spicy, but some might. The tortillas themselves seemed a bit raw. They weren’t bad, but a bit soggy and bland. The beans were good, they had an almost smokey flavor that I really enjoyed. The rice was good, but a bit salty for me. Overall, very good. I’ll be going back to try a few more things. I will say the menu is interesting (in a good way!) and has a handful of options that I haven’t seen available at other places in the area.

Ordered through door dash. The chicken enchiladas were full of white meat, loved the avocado cream. My only negative was I didn’t get any salsa for the bag of chips. Otherwise, greatly recommend

I just ordered lunch here, wait staff is courteous, ( which is why they are getting 2 stars)- My waitress brought a stack of napkins to my table- i moved them after a few minutes and a roach crawled out from underneath- Yes an actual roach where I am eating. It crawled off to the side and then another one crawled back into the table where my food was. I could not finish my lunch because i was so grossed out at that point. With the food born illness crisis in the u.s. right now there is absolutely NO excuse for this. I like supporting local business but i absolutely will call out any establishment that has let their situation get to this point of disregard. Close down and do a deep cleaning . Please. People are eating here.

Wow! This is our new favorite Mexican restaurant. The staff was friendly, and our food was delivered quickly. Their cheese dip is the best I’ve ever had; it comes on a steaming cast iron skillet with tomatoes, peppers and onions. My partner is vegetarian, and there were plenty of options for him too. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Big menu with plenty of options and some offerings you don’t see at other restaurants in the area. Service was good and the waitress was friendly, we didn’t wait long for food after we placed our order, everything came out correct/hot and tasted fresh. The prices were on par with other restaurants in the area and it wasn’t as expensive as Papas and Beer would be, I would try again and also recommend based off of this first visit. They also have a very extensive drink menu though we didn’t try any drinks this time around.

The drinks are priced fairly and they even have jello shots. The menu has a lot of options but not too many like some places. The food is always good in my opinion.
