The restaurant is very popular and a reservation should be made. It’s located in a small plaza with plenty of parking. If you’re there early, you can grab a drink and sit outside. The restaurant was clean and simply decorated.

Put simply you must try this place. This was some of the best food we have tried in the Austin area. The mole enchiladas, and various tacos were amazing. The fried chicken and thunder Rosa stood out for the tacos my family had but the mole on the enchiladas was truly magical. The service from Gina was excellent, kind and attentive. We will be making this place a regular destination for the family. If you haven’t tried it yet you NEED to 🙂

The chips, queso, and salsa were a great starter, I tried the Chile Relleno Special and it was different but delicious; it was smothered in cheese and red sauce, all of which had great taste and balance. The chile was perfectly cooked and the filling was flavorful and creamy. The plate comes with your choice of two sides and corn or flower tortillas.

The food at this restaurant was incredible…we are totally going to be back for more! We tried the Carnitas Cubanos, Thunder Rosa taco and Las Cruces Banado plate. Wasn’t impressed with the service….our server was very mechanical…wanted to pull our plates before we were even done! Be sure to make a reservation to avoid waiting for a table.

Highly recommend Eldorado cafe for breakfast. This is the neighborhood spot. Quality and flavorful food. The breakfast tacos are well worth it. Huge portions and so delicious. I got the big papas, migas and Matt’s everything taco. Had no issues with either all so flavorful!

Really enjoyed my visit at Eldorado. The food was really good, and that scorpion salsa is top tier. I had the Nomad plate and cleared it all! Blake was a fantastic server and we felt the love from all the staff. You can tell management spends the time to make sure they have the right people!
