Kris and Samantha were such amazing servers- the whole experience made me feel like I was hanging out with my cool aunts. Food was fantastic. I ordered the stuffed mushrooms, lobster ravioli, and a couple of drinks. On a cold rainy day like this, a restaurant and servers like this seem like a warm blanket; full of comfort. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area!

My bf and I stopped here for dinner on our way home from a long day trip and we were starving. When we walked in, we weren’t sure if we went in the right entrance because it didn’t have a restaurant vibe to it. The front entrance felt kind of like a lobby reception area for a hotel, and there was no appetizing smell of food in the air. When we entered the dining area, we got a comfortable booth and perused the large menu. Our server was attentive and friendly. We ordered a burger and chicken parm, and both were ok. The sweet potato fries were very good. Overall, the meal was decent but not really impressive.

This is my first time at the place, and I’m writing a review five minutes after sitting down to eat my food. First of all, everyone who works here is awesome. Special shout out to chef Foster, I think that’s his name. He served up a great meal and entertained with his great personality.

My husband & I come here mostly on Sundays. Love the brunch . Your greeted as you walk in the doors. Very friendly welcoming warmth feel. We have been other days and attended a few parties that they host but Sundays is our must. The food is all wonderful. The gentleman that cut our meat and made our omlets always greated us each time we went up and asked if we were happy .

We went here for dinner Friday night. The service was good and the food was great. The portions and ratios were spot on. The prices are certainly reasonable. Everything was what we had hoped for – expectations were met.
They even have Yuengling beer!
We had cheesecake for dessert and I was impressed with how Kristen brought the tea and cheesecake out together. I can’t tell you how many people screw this up. The cheesecake was decent, but I think next time I will try the carrot cake.
There will certainly be a next time…
In the past, I had only gone here for company Christmas parties and had found the food to be very good.

Went to the buffet on Thanksgiving. Atmosphere was good, staff was pleasant. Our waitress forgot our drinks. The buffet….terrible. The stuffed sole was dry, over cooked smelled very fishy and had a chemical taste, couldn’t tell if it was the stuffing or the fish. The Roast sirloin, was NOT sirloin, it was an inferior cut of beef, tough and without marblization, hard to cut and chew. The STUFFING (my most favorite side dish) was insipid, no flavor except sage and stale bread. I was so disappointed. The panned turkey in broth was stringy and chewy, no flavor. There were only 2 dishes that were good. The roasted turkey breast at the carving station and the mashed potatoes. Desserts were STOP and Shop grade, not very delectable. All the other sides I did not try, they did not look appetizing and I was trying to keep the “the Thanksgiving Dinner” theme. I grew up and lived in Wethersfield and have had meals and parties there with friends and family throughout the years, but I will no longer be going back. So, so disappointed.

The penne was on point for real, calamari could have been cooked just a little longer for that crispy taste but I’ll be back.

Had brunch there 10/26! Greeted warmly and all staff very attentive and courteous. Brunch was standard but delicious. Had to wait for more bacon (but we had arrived near the end of service). Overall a nice calm pleasant experience for a last minute stop in for a Sunday brunch.

Travellers, Elaine’s is a local restaurant that has a fantastic menu. And the chef can back it up. The food is delicious. The restaurant is pretty and the ambiance is very pleasant. Service is with a smile. Back to the great food. We had the linguini and clam sauce which was fantastic. The clams were whole and cooked perfectly while the sauce was excellent. The rustica pasta was excellent. We had it with linguini instead of rigatoni which was fine. The cowboy burger is excellent and cooked perfectly too. And the Caesar salad with grilled chicken also perfectly done. Elaine’s is reasonably priced for the high quality of food and service you receive in this restaurant. We can’t wait to go back. Check it out. We recommend.

TLDR – top choice for Italian/American food

Lived down the road for years and never went, figured i’d give it a try. I did order take out, so that could of gave the quality a hit. But the place itself is nice, very calm atmosphere, extremely friendly staff, and it was extremely clean. I ordered the Chicken Cutlet Grinder and the Cheesy Garlic Bread. Overall wasn’t really satisfied with my meal, the garlic bread was possibly some of the worst I’ve ever had, looked sad, was soft and had an awful texture. Taste was alright, but the cheese was barley melted and looked just thrown on, though it did have plenty of garlic flavor. The Chicken Cutlet Grinder was better, it was a smaller portion size then I was expecting, about 6 inches in length, but for 11.95, I would expect at least an 8-10 inch sub. It tasted fine, texture was fantastic, just not a superb sandwich. The fries however, are fantastic, extremely crispy, seasoned well, a very very good french fry. Overall I’d say it was a decent experience, and after all the food I got was TAKE OUT, so I’d assume the quality would be much better if you dined in. Worth a stop by.
