The lady who took our order at the counter very very nice and friendly. We were sadly very, very disappointed with the food. The tacos were 3.50 each and very small with hardly anything in them, although the tiny amount of meat was yummy. No lettuce, salsa, cheese….they only had maybe an ounce of meat…less than taco bell! We truly felt ripped off and i dont say that lightly. The queso popusa was good but the chicarron one was grainy and mushy and utterly inedible. They were $5 each. We each had a bite and or two then tossed it, it was not salvageable. The tables and chairs were dirty. Decorations were nice and it was festive with music. It seemed very popular with locals, but because the food is very expensive for very tiny portions (i shouldve taken a picture), and the pork popusa was inedible, I do not recommend at all. We will not return.

Loved this place, everything came out so amazing. Delicious aguas frescas. Our service was excellent. Definitely worth going a 2nd, 3rd, 4th time ..

The tacos are good, they have a chilled sauce bar for you. Everything was nice and clean and quiet.
The tamales are worth the trip if you have to make one. I found this place looking for tamales. The service is kind and warm.

Tamales were soggy. The chicken green tames were too spicy and the red pork ones had no flavor.
Had some pupusas before that were actually okay.

Came here for Menudo soup. I thought the price was a little high. $15.99. And the bowl isn’t that big. Tastes amazing though. I wish they served margaritas. But they have michelada.

First time visit. We ordered steak tacos. They were good, but not great. We went around 1:45 in the afternoon and with just two other tables, it took 25 minutes to get our food. Parking is horrible…even at 1:45 in the afternoon.

This has nothing to do with the three stars, but I did experience something I have never experienced in my 50+ years on this earth, a Mexican restaurant that didn’t serve chips and salsa. I’m not even talking about complimentary chips and salsa. They didn’t have chips and salsa to purchase. Again, a first time that has ever happened in my lifetime.

This place is such a hidden gem! Went for the first time today and absolutely loved it (since my name is so similar, of course I had to check it out!). Got the enchiladas verdes, tamale with pork, chiles rellenos and 3 drinks for 40 dollars. The rice and beans were so flavorful and the portions were huge. Also, the sauces that came with were amazing. I wish I could get the green jalapeno (?) sauce in a bottle. New favorite and will definitely be coming back . It’s weird to describe a taste as homemade, but honestly that’s the best descriptor for the amazing food.

What a jewel of a place! Excellent traditional food, wonderful service and a fantastic atmosphere. Each dish had its own unique flavor. The coffee with cinnamon, oh my! Oh,and did I mention their salsa! We can’t wait to go back!

Stopped at Elaina’s for lunch on Sunday with the fam. This was my first time here and I had heard good things about this place. The food was good, portions were large and the tortillas were fresh. However, I was a little disappointed in the caldo. The atmosphere is not fancy but comfortable. It was a nice place for a Sunday lunch and would like to try other items on the menu. Parking is limited but you can pull through between the two building and there is a small parking lot in the back.
