last week i stopped by ELA MARKET for curbside pick up – we tried the spinach salad /greek chicken salad / pepperoni pizza / meatball parmesan. THIS FOOD IS SO GOOD. im a bit of a salad connoisseur and the spinach and bacon salad is one of the best ive ever had. i hate that it can be really hard to find a good, quick, and affordable salad in town. If thats what your looking for ELA MARKET is the place to go!! also the FHOP pizza (which is now located inside of ELA) was sinfully delicious. Like i said, if your looking for something super tasty, quick and affordable this is the place to go!!!!!!!!

Went in on Saturday (10/10/2020) for Lunch.
I got a Chicken Gyro, my S/O got a Chicken Souvlaki
+ The atmosphere inside the place was quaint. The woodwork and natural light inside, along with cleanliness definitely was a great first impression.
+ All staff we encountered were wearing masks, there was shielding at the register, and they have the establishment setup with a one directional flow.
Now for the food:
++ The Chicken Gyro was excellent. Practically inhaled it, wish I remembered to take a photo. The pita was fluffy, but structurally sound. The tzatziki was dilly and creamy. Chicken was juicy, and I think it had been marinated in tzatziki. Vegetables were crisp and fresh. Fries were on it, not sure if by purpose, but pleasantly acceptable. 🙂
++ S/O had nothing bad to say about the Chicken Souvlaki. Marinated chicken with vegetables on a sub roll. Also a food item that was inhaled without a photo. (Is that the sign of good tasting these days?)
Overall: Everything was fresh, the atmosphere was dine-in friendly. We will definitely be going back, and feel guilty for waiting until now to stop in.

I went in for the first time today after passing by frequently. I wish I stopped in sooner–great food! The owner was very sociable and made the small wait time very enjoyable. I will definitely recommend this place to anybody in the Greater Portland area.

Amazing food, great service, and a wonderful, helpful, and available owner! This was my first time at Ela Market – I didn’t know what I wanted but Nick was very accommodating and helped me decide. My family absolutely LOVED the food I brought back. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

I have to say I’m very confused. This establishment inside Ellas Market is identifying themselves as the original FHOP, yet the food (in both taste and quality) is a far cry from what it once was. I ordered a gyro with a side of house. The gyro was so salty it was nearly inedible. If you’re looking for the original food, made by the original staff then go visit the FHOP in the Shaws Plaza down the road on Route 1. Ellas needs to stick to specialty goods and stop trying to be something it’s not.

Even if you don’t live in Falmouth, you should make a special trip here!! The pizza is out of this world. We are a repeat customer and the quality is always on point. Try the Greek pizza.. you won’t be disappointed!

Ordering food for pick up on website was easy. Food was prepped in record time. 16 mins for a Friday night. Food was excellent. Minor error in order was quickly and easily resolved. What more can you ask for? Excellent!
