Great Valentine’s Day dinner with delicious food. The staff was very caring and thoughtful when it came to our baby – saved us the corner table and asked if the music was too loud. They also added cute little personalized cards for the valentines reservations. We will be back!

The parking here is very tight and a little difficult to navigate if it is a busy night. The handicap accessibility getting in the restaurant is not the easiest but once you are in it is very easy to get around.
We have been here many times and for the most part enjoy it. Tonight the service was just ok. I am pretty sure they changed their salsa recipe as it was not as flavorful as it normally is., it tasted like and had the consistency of a can of diced tomatoes and onions. The other hot sauces they offered were very good though. The chips were all crushed and were not as fresh tasting as they normally are.
The strawberry banana margaritas were very good and well balanced.
3 of us at the table ordered the steak chimichanga meal and they did not disappoint. They were crispy and well filled with steak and cheese, the sides were rice and a little fried corn taco shell holding the refried beans were very tasty. The chicken roll was pretty bland tasting but was filled with what the menu indicated.
There is a sign on the door asking if you would please use cash to help them keep costs down which was fine with us.

Service is great, atmosphere is fun and the food is always delicious. Always treated like family there. They have a low carb fajita meal that is too die for.

The town I grew up in has an El Zarape. I had to try this one. A restaurant with the same name, but in Mendota IL. I had ground beef enchiladas with beans and rice. It was fantastic. The food was delicious, and the service was good. The first chips and salsa were free. The salsa tasted great. It could have been hotter for my taste, but it was good. I ate it all! And for those interested they do have a bar, but didn’t drink so I can’t comment on it.

If you go here do not order online. We just paid $30 for two scoops of rice two scoops of beans and two tacos with barely any meat in it. Very confusing on there highly not recommended.
