Ate lunch there today to celebrate my sister’s 82nd birthday. The food was so bad that one of my sisters wasn’t even able to eat it. She sent it back and said she was not able to eat it. And I tasted it and the beef… it was just horrible. It tasted watered-down if you can imagine that. I managed to choke down my chimichanga, but it tasted like it was made with canned chicken and my other sister she managed to eat most of hers, but she said it was not at all enjoyable. Then we got the check with just a final figure on it.No breakdown of the charges, or anything like that. We were even charged for the meal that my sister couldnt eat!! Just one total. We had already calculated an estimated amount in our minds before we got the check .And when we added it back up , it came out that the waitress overcharged us by $15.00. We got a menu and calculated the .eals

My meal was good although I ordered a Chilli Relleno dish. I received the dish with no stuffed pompano pepper. So again, the meal was good, I just happen to love the pepper and missed it. So maybe next I will get one.☺️

This small hole in the wall restaurant doesn’t look like much, but the food here is top tier. The customer service is amazing and the dish presentation is equally as good as the food. Very impressed with everything at El Zarape.
