The food was delicious at El Zarape. I had the carnitas and they were very flavorful and moist. The rice was also amazing! The service was thorough. The food came out pretty quick. Our server was very kind to us. The atmosphere was relaxing. The restaurant was very clean. I definitely recommend this place.

I ordered the faijita nachos and let me tell you they are soooo good! I now crave them and other nachos need to step up their game. Service was good, very friendly and kind waiter, got seated at a reasonable amount of time. Prices are very very reasonable and affordable got amazing nachos for the same price I would have spent at a fast food place for less quality food. Highly recommend!

Came in with a big group of people, In which I understand, it’s a lot for the staff. However, when you spend money at a place, you deserve quality as the same person who only has two at their party.
The waitress was great. He helped out every time we needed something. However, The other waitress, who is also helping us since our party was huge Was completely disrespectful and rude. I told him my order was messed up and he said you have to pay extra if I wanted it remade. And every time anyone asked for him to do something, he complain and yelled across the restaurant, which was embarrassing.
Then when we got to pay, the gentleman was extremely rude and disrespectful because we had a coupon and he wouldn’t let us use it. He called us liar, and didn’t give us the right in which I called him out on it and he called me a liar again.
I don’t usually make comments like this, but I will not be going back to this place because of the service. We were very excited to be there, But it seemed to be that they didn’t want us there.

Very, very, good food. I need not say anymore. The service was timely but leisurely for group conversation. The dinning area was clean and well maintained. The interior had changed since my last visit but still very tastefully done. Table service for check out was nice and that added a personal touch to the service. Severing size

We visited BG all the time when our son went to college here. Our go to for dinner on Fridays was El Zarape. They have a wide variety on the menu, but we always loved the chicken soup, Sopa Azteca. We have tried many Mexican restaurants near home, none can compare to the rich flavors, abundant chicken, and freshness with the avocado and pico de gallo.
