This restaurant is incredible—run, don’t walk to grab a spot. They are open for breakfast – dinner, so you have options! The food is a mix of traditional South American offerings, but somehow light and refreshingly bright and zingy, not heavy. Incredible flavors blended so well to complement each other—The pickled onions, perfectly ripened avocados, thin plantain chips (not thick or greasy), unique avocado sauce, beans cooked perfectly (not mushy)…everything was just beautifully matched. We had Arupa vegetable, spinach empanadas, the incredible ceviche (a must) and the yucca fries (lightly friend, but again not greasy). The atmosphere is modern chic, yet cozy, intimate and friendly. Seems to seat 40-50 including a bar area. Plenty of incredible drinks of course. Great spot. You feel the careful considered choices in the menu and surroundings. They have interesting events to try too—Thursday night Spanish guitar, Sunday cozy mornings with live music among them. We tried the unique xocolatl chocolate too which was super. Thank you for a great meal!

There is a burden when your restaurant has such high ratings on Google reviews. I drove across town because this place had a 4.9 rating, so I had to try it. Came here for lunch. I’m gonna try there’s ceviche and one of their popular rice and chicken dishes. Everything was good, but I think curse of having been waited so high made me come in here with slightly higher expectations. For instance, the ceviche could’ve had a little bit more depth of flavor, some heat to it a little bit more citrus the shrimp could’ve been a little bit more fresh, but for the price everything was really great

On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, when Dr. King declared “Let freedom ring,” El Viñedo made my heart and soul sing.

There is something truly liberating about their arepas so much so that even my esophagus broke generational curses. Honestly, who needs to explore all of Atlanta when you can explore the entire world through their menu?

This visit meant even more because my grandmother our family’s matriarch doesn’t go into the city often. The lines at the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park were out the door, and I couldn’t let her leave the city EL disappointed. So we parked and came to El Viñedo and I’m so glad we did.

Our server, Malcolm, was exceptional. He was patient, kind, and attentive with my grandmother, and he even sang Happy Birthday to me, which truly made the day unforgettable.

Between the incredible food, the warm service, and the love in the atmosphere, I had a truly wonderful MLK Day / birthday celebration. El Viñedo gave us joy, comfort, and a memory I’ll cherish forever.

Such a lovely spot with amazing energy and even better flavors! I stopped by for breakfast and everything was spot on. The arepas were perfectly crispy outside and soft, flavorful inside. The Guava Pastelito was the highlight for me. sweet, flaky, and absolutely worth ordering. This place easily became one of my favorites for a morning treat. Five stars all the way!

A friend and I went at about 12 noon, there was little staff for a weekend that made the service in general slow, the food seems to me to be a small size for the price, the arepas we ordered were not well cooked, I asked for it to be changed and in the bill you wanted to charge me the two arepas as if I had eaten them, in the end for the bad service if they could give us a remuneration for the bad experience… I think I would have to go another time to know if everything will be better.

We went on a Sunday around 11am, and it was moderately crowded. We got two types of arepas and empanadas, and they were incredible! Both were fried to perfection, and the cheese they used was probably the some of the best cheese I’ve ever had. I also got a xocolatl mocha, which tasted incredible and had great latte art. The dishes (plates, etc.) were also super pretty! The food was slightly on the expensive side for the portion size but not unreasonable.

The service was top notch. The waiter answered all of our questions and made sure to check on us throughout the meal.

The atmosphere was very cozy and cute. Since the restaurant is divided into rooms, it doesn’t feel too big and the room is small enough to have character.

Overall, I would definitely go back and would also recommend this restaurant.

Breakfast was amazing. I came with my 34 year old daughter who is a big time foodie. We were in town for a wedding and stayed at Georgia Tech conference center , a very short walk away. We split a breakfast plate with scrambled eggs, black beans, shredded beef, plantains, etc…also a spinach empanada and some kind of tart. I normally include photos in my reviews but we ate most everything so fast that the food was gone before I thought to snap a shot…except the tart which we ordered after the fact. We also enjoyed some excellent coffee, Cortado and a vanilla latte. Well priced too. The food had so many different wonderful flavors and it was a pleasure to savor each bite. I wish this restaurant was near me in NY!

Food was good, but portions were a little on the small side for the price. My whole initial order was out of stock or unavailable due to the fryer being broken.
