The restaurant is very beautiful and in a great location. I was Disappointed by the taste of the campechana. Customer service needs improvement.

3 of us arrived, we were seated immediately and then ignored from then on. Other people being seated after us were immediately given chip water napkins, after about 15 minutes we had to ask for our server so we could get chips, water and napkins. We were brought chips only. We ordered our dinners. It literally took an hour for my wife to get her 2 tacos, I finally complained to the manager who simply said they were very busy. They were not busy. My son and I received our dinners 5 minutes later. I had to go to the bar and grab a stack of napkins. The manager came later again with a half apology trying to justify the long wait but again others seated after us received their orders, meals drinks very quickly.

I had a wonderful experience at El Viejon. The atmosphere was modern and lively, and the staff were friendly, very attentive and welcoming. The food was excellent—their mariscos were very fresh and the presentation was on point.
Service was quick, and everything felt well taken care of. Prices were reasonable for the quality. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new spot to take family/friends. Great place for a date night too. Their specialty drinks were delicious and one of a kind. We’ll be back!

The service was absolutely flawless—attentive without being intrusive. Every staff member I encountered was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about creating the best possible dining experience.
And then there’s the food… simply incredible. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. You can tell that a lot of thought, passion, and creativity goes into the menu. The ingredients were fresh, the portions were generous without being overwhelming, and every bite felt like it was crafted with intention.

Margarita had me feeling like I was drinking a Margarita in Mexico on the beach, the ceviche was so fresh and delicious. I will definitely be coming back.

The food is amazing, sushi rolls are a very large portion. Dishes are a little pricey, but worth it. Our server, Kimberly, was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great recommendations. I had the Korita Roll, which had an excellent balance of texture and flavor. The Guamachilto roll was great too; unique smoky tasting octopus. Food arrived fresh and fast. Great spot to experience local cuisine!

Came down from the SFV to try this place out and it DID NOT disappoint! Service was great our waitress was really nice and attentive. The food was AMAZING as well as the drinks! Loved the vibe and will definitely be coming back!

The food was great, however the service was the worse. Im not usually the kind to leave bad reviews but I truly urge the managers here to make some changes. I received my drink at the end of my meal. My friend received her meal after we all finished our food. Then we get charged a $52 gratuity fee. I would have given a $5 tip. That’s how insulting the service was here
