Stopped here with my son and daughter-in-law for supper. The atmosphere was basic, but the food and service made up for it, as both were very good. The prices were very reasonable also.

I’ve been a loyal customer of El Vera Cruz for years. It used to be one of my favorite spots — dependable, delicious, and a regular go-to. Unfortunately, that all changed during my most recent visit.
To my shock, I found a literal metal screw in my food. I nearly chipped a tooth biting into it — and I’m currently six months pregnant. This wasn’t just unpleasant, it was genuinely dangerous. I immediately stopped eating and threw the rest of the meal away.
I spoke with the manager, Julia, but the conversation went absolutely nowhere. There was no real apology, no effort to take accountability, and I was offered only an $8 refund. That’s insulting, considering the risk involved and the complete loss of my meal — not to mention the trust I had in this restaurant.
This experience was incredibly disappointing, and I can no longer recommend El Vera Cruz in good conscience. Be careful eating here. I truly hope they take this as a wake-up call to improve their food safety practices and how they handle serious customer concerns.

We were in the area, and this restaurant was one of the only places opened late. Half the restaurant has a club vibe. They have a cover charge at the door to dance. The other side is the restaurant. Service was awesome. Our waiter was prompt and very efficient. Our food and drinks came almost immediately. I would recommend eating here.

So, the fam and I was invited to a bday party here on a Sunday. Our waiter was amazing and surprisingly on point with refills and correct orders with a party of 15. The atmosphere was loud and laid back. Parking was adequate. While the food was fresh and came out hot, I wasn’t really a fan of the taste. I’ve had better Mexican food and don’t think I’ll add El Veracruz to the lineup for me and the fam. Their margaritas, however, were nice size and tasted great! I do recommend to at least try them once since the food wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t for me. The bday girl loves eating here and is one of her favorite spots to eat.

A great place for dinner,live music at 8pm. The burritos are huuuggeeee!!!And they are delicious.Service was great too. Our waiter william was attentive and kind. Prices where great especially for the portion sizes. The whole family enjoyed their choices.
