We were quite surprised to see some empty tables during a sunday afternoon, but that did not put us off. The food was just as expected, amazing! Everything was fresh, well made and flavorful.
I had ordered a cup of Pozole and to me that cup was a bowl size. Nothing wrong with it, portion was larger than I had expected but delicious nonetheless.

We used to go to El Vaquero by my home all the time and then they moved so haven’t been for years. We were out shopping on a busy day and came across them and decided to stop for lunch. Overall was disappointed. The restaurant was clean the the service was good and fast. It was very quiet for a busy day. The salsa & chips were good as I remember but unfortunately they were the highlight of the meal. We had the flautas, taco & enchiladas. They were all just okay and on the bland side. The rice was very good and the beans were so bland. We were really puzzled by the enchiladas. I love all enchiladas and I know I’m not an expert but have eaten enchiladas all over the southwest and Mexico and make my own sauce from scratch and never had sauce like this. The sauce was not well received. I really like that they are local and family owned and hope they can find the consistency and flavor profile they used to have.

This location has the best customer service. Our fod was fresh and delicious served hot and with courtesy. Margarita was not as strong or maybe over iced. But that is the only thing I didn’t love! All employees were very nice and that was the biggest difference I’ve noticed. We usually go tho the beautiful location on Olentangy and they could be a little nicer…that’s all I’m saying. The food is the same.

I have never experienced such a terrible interaction at a restaurant. For whatever reason the boys running food to tables kept giving me extremely dirty looks, to the point where one of them turned around and looked at me again and then when he brought out more food, he got in my face and made a rude smirk. It made my entire party feel uncomfortable. Our waitress was very nice and definitely tried to deescalate the situation because she obviously saw/heard whatever was happening behind the scene with her coworkers. Literally have know idea what warranted the dirty looks and disrespect we received. The food smelled weird and didn’t taste right.

Nice location with friendly staff. I usually get the taco salads that come with the fired shell…super tasty. I love their nachos and tacos too. Margaritas are great and the bar is large and well equipped. Nice large patio with outside bar for use during nice weather. Prices have gone up but still my go to for Mexican-American food.

First time trying food from here. My sister took me here for my birthday dinner and we enjoyed it very much. Place was clean and lively and most importantly-the food was delicious. We’ll definitely be back and recommend this place for some delicious Mexican food.

Ordered carry out. Food was ready on time and delicious. I have ordered chili rellenos From every Mexican restaurant in this town looking for one that would approach what my mother used to make. This was the closest I’ve come. They were delicious. Not perfect but delicious. I will continue to order from here.
