This is a great lil hidden gem. The host/server Matthew was inviting, friendly, and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything, from the free chips and bean dip, to the entrees, and the drinks. The quantity of the food is more than enough and the prices are reasonable. I can definitely see why the have an A grade inspection. I recommend checking this place out and you won’t be disappointed.

Delicious food! If you’re into Mexican food, you’re likely to enjoy this cuisine! Really fresh flavors. Highly recommend the El Pastor tacos (some of the best seasoned meat I’ve had), pollo y queso pupusa, and the taquitos. Super delicious, big portions, and is easy on the wallet. Support this local business!

Ordered takeout from here for the first and the last time. I ordered a dish that comes with steak. I have never in my life had a piece of steak so tough to cut. It was like trying to eat shoe leather. The rice was bland with absolutely no seasoning. I ended up throwing the entire dish away. I’ll never order from here again.

Original menu. I think this place could use a roadside banner as it was hard to find. It’s inside the strip mall behind Wendy’s. Tex-Mex, Honduras ran and operated as some of the cooks are from Honduras.
No red salsa so that was a disappointment. Chips are served with black bean pureed. There is chili Verde in a bottle to put on them which i did.
The waitress was very accommodating, and tried to explain the menu well to us.
We all enjoyed our meals. I thought some sauce ontop of burritos and such would have been nice with a dry tortilla. There was a quesadilla which about 3/4″ around the edge was empty and wasn’t 2 tortillas but 1 folded. A person at the table did ask if it was a full quesadilla. The waitress said yes. It was not a regular full-sized quesadilla.
So that was a let-down for the customer.
There was music and 2 tvs playing. The place was busy, so it points to overall happy customers I’d have to assume.

Searched up restaurants to eat in Gulf Port and the ratings, reviews, and photos are what reeled me in. Loved every single bite! The torta de asada was massive! The tacos juicy and tasty. The salsa just the right amount of spicy. The cencilla baleada was something I had not tried before but it was good. The service was also amazing. Great restaurant and food overall.

A friend showed me this place recently, and I’m so happy they did. The pupusa I had was incredible. Service was wonderful as well. I will be recommending it to all my friends and will be back very soon.

Had the pleasure of dining in last Sunday at El Valle. Everything about this place was amazing. We were greeted immediately and told we could sit wherever we like. Our waitress was so kind and patient with us. She explained things on the menu to us that we had questions about. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. I ordered the BANDEJA CATRACHA for $24.99. It’s included: (1) beef pastelito (1) chicken Honduran taco (1) beef enchilada (1) baleada cencilla (1) catracha and a side of sweet plantains. I figured since is was my first time I would just order a sampler plate so I could at least try a few things. This plate came with several dips. Our waitress told us the name of each dip and what food item went best with each of them. This place is definitely a 10/10. We will be going back soon.

Such a amazing hidden gem. A very easy way to being introduced to central american cuisine. The chips with beans are delicious. The beers are always cold. And the FOOD. I swear there is not a single bad thing on the menu. Try everything at least once. We love the tacos, baledas, birrias, weekend soups, sweet plantains, and the pupusas!
