On a long road trip, we stopped at this exit as it had the most chain restaurant options, but we saw this Mexican restaurant and gave it a try. It did NOT disappoint. Super clean, vibrantly decorated, and appointed with unique ‘green’ walls imitating plants and vegetation. The bathroom was cleaner than mine at home. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. Great service and the food came out quickly. Great find. Highly recommend, it’s always a good idea to skip the chain restaurants – especially when there’s a great option like this.

I love everything about this place. My husband and I are originally from Arizona and we both say this is the best Mexican food we have ever had. There isn’t a single server who isn’t an absolute delight. And the new remodel inside is beautiful! 10/10 my favorite place to be. I highly recommend the Tacos De Birria and my husband loves the Carnitas Don Juan, but we have had nearly everything on the menu and you honestly can’t go wrong. Everything is delicious.

We LOVE this place. It was our second time dining here. The first time was in December. It was a little slower then, due to the holiday, I guess. However, we were still seated right away this time.
We were happy to see that they were busy. Our server was great. We ordered our drinks. When they arrived, we ordered our appetizers. When the appetizers arrived, we had to get his attention to order our entrees.
I’m not sure if he thought we only wanted appetizers or not. Our section was really busy, so we understood. My daughter wanted me to speak Spanish to him, so I ordered our food in Spanish.
The food here seems to NEVER disappoint. We ate the appetizers so fast, I didn’t take a picture. We really enjoyed our meals and couldn’t finish them, just like the first time.
I’m sure we’ll be back again. My son only eats chicken, everywhere we go, but he has asked to come back here again already. He enjoys the atmosphere. We all do.

El Vallarta has been our go-to Mexican restaurant in Mercer County for years and we’ve always had excellent meals. On our most recent trip, we were surprised to see that they had remodeled, and in talking to our server we learned that they completed renovations in less than a month, which is impressive with all of the changes they made. It is much nicer looking inside with (fake) plants, more aesthetically pleasing lighting, and new booths, and they’ve opened up walls to make the restaurant less segmented. Of course the food was as excellent as ever with very tender and flavorful shredded beef topping the enchiladas rancheros and plenty of chips and salsa! We had enough to take leftovers home, which we always enjoy. We also recommend the burritos mexicanos and tacos a la carte, though we did not order those on this trip. The menu is massive, so there’s something for everyone!

Food, atmosphere, menu, scene – everything was a 5 star experience. The difficulty to communicate was not very great. Could have been the guys’ first time waiting, and that was an issue.. but regardless, it was difficult.

Food was solid kind of dry, hot sauce was just hot not really flavorful. Service was AMAZING along with the atmosphere!!! Bathrooms were super clean, and you can tell the restaurant is kept up well.

This place has a very pleasant atmosphere inside. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent, offering a different flavor profile compared to other Mexican restaurants. While it felt slightly more premium than average, the pricing was reasonable. I definitely recommend.
