First time visiting this place. Was looking forward to eating here when I found out they sell Salvadoran food. The parking lot is atrocious. Trash and pot holes everywhere. Restaurant is located in last unit. And yes the owner was on the phone talking thr whole time minus five minutes to attend another customer and I. Ordered the chicken and cheese, bean and cheese popusas. Took a while to make but they were sooo delicious. Unfortunately, because she was on the phone she served them to go, so I ate out of a foam to-go container. There were quite a few people picking up to-go orders.

People complain about slow or mean service. The lady was super nice and they made the food fresh. So yes it takes time if you’re in a hurry call and order ahead maybe? But we didn’t mind especially because the papusas were the best I ever had tbh(and I’ve had street vendor la papusas) the curtido was crispy and tangy and fresh and i loved it. I super enjoyed them i got the chicharon bean and cheese ones. Also the tamarindo drink was fire. Definitely my new fave local place! My fiance got some tacos al pastor and he enjoyed how meaty they were too. Love this place

It’s a small place but the service and food or great. I always enjoy experience other cultures food and this Salvadorian experience is a great one. Order the pupusa and comes with a pickled cabbage and a sauce that’s spice but can’t wait to take the next bite. I only dinned in once and since just get take out because I’m only a short walk to it. I always order enough to have it the next day. So left overs are fine just refrigerate and reheat in microwave. I recommend El Tuscan.
